I was able to get my CE and cant wait.

Remember enjoying this one on the gamecube but I'm just not sure about buying it a second time around. Didn't enjoy the last tales game I bought. Another series stuck in the past. It looked like a PS2 game and that's being generous.

Anyway, Symphonia was amazing, so glad to see this holds up.

Atlus releases its games in the US with a month delay, max. This isn't 1998 anymore.

I have the collector's edition pre-ordered. You know, cause I feel it's totally worth the extra 60 bucks for figurines and an artbook...

Already played the first one on GC. Have no interest in playing DotNW. Going to pass on this.

It's great for people who never played it before.

Awesome! Glad I still own my PS3 for titles such as this.

One of the reasons I didn't buy lightning returns rather buy this and Dark souls 2.

GC version has higher FPS and faster loading times according to the comparison video.

So.... yeah...

I don't know, but I don't think half-assed port is enough of a reason for me to buy it again.

Still have the GC version of ToS, and Dawn of the New World is okay at best so I'll pass.

I have only recently got into the Tales series but I've heard great things about this game so I'll probably pick it up!

More rebuying the same games consolites? yeesh.

Ye it's a bit odd. IIRC Tales of the Abyss on 3DS suffered from similar "improvements" but that was at least understandable due to meh hardware.

I actually never played it back in the GC days. But I actually welcome the idea of HD ports. Windwaker HD was awesome (did not play on GC either) and I think FFX HD will be good (and I played it! but that was 10 years ago.. damn I'm getting old)

Yeah me too. HD remasters enhance already great games and adds more to amazing games like Persona 4, Wind Waker, FFX, Okami and such.

so a simple enhancement (certain studios like The witcher guys offer for free on thier games) jsutifies full price re-releases? all you get is a resolution bump up and if lucky SOME model adjustments? count me out. wind waker being an exception because hey HAD to remake it, and the kingdom hearts games.

Seems rather lazy to me. I can play ToS, Wind Waker and FFX in HD on my PC already for free... granted the oh-so-slight model upgrades are not there. but then, it didn't cost £40 a pop.

Cash ins.... nothing more.
