It looks fantastic. I'm definitely more interested in this game than Street Fighter 2 3D.

This title looks to be another mediocre cash in in the Capcom vs. series. It hardly looks any better than Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

MvC2 is a great fighter. You may not like it but there are TONS of people who have been dying for another Capcom game along those lines. Not being better than Marvel vs Capcom 2 is like insulting a platformer because its not better than Mario 64, one of the best platformers ever made.

Nearly a decade has passed (1). My point was another same old same old entry in the Capcom versus series is going to have a Hell of a hard time doing anything impressive, especially considering SF4 has just hit (2).

(1) What is the point of this sentence? Are you saying that because alot of time has passed between MvC2 and TvC its a bad thing? You are aware that Street Fighter 3 came out a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time before SF4 right?

(2) You could argue the same about SF4. Especially when so many people have been like, "If you play it like SF2, you'll beat it with no problems".

You seem to have like an intense hatred towards non-SF Capcom fighters. This thread wasn't even about, "Do you think TvC will destroy SF4?" You came into a thread about gameplay videos and pics and started saying saying it'll suck compared to SF4 and some random Wii bashing.

Because that video looks to change very little in the Capcom versus series, that is my point.

Sf4 is a huge, huge departure from 3S. If anything it's a return to more classic control and a refinement and change of controls first introduced in SF2 as well as an introduction of new mechanics.

Take for example the Soul Calibur series (not a fan personally, but the example will do fine.) 8 years ago that game got a ten. if another Soul Calibur was released that waspretty much the same as the original, it would not have nearly the same impact as the original had, it would not seem anywhere near as good.

And the way I feel has nothing to do with the Wii. I'd feel the same thing if SF4 was on the Wii and this game wasn't.

You just went against your own point since sf4 is things from sf2 a game that is well over a decade long. Both games will be great. I love capcoms vs fighters and sf games.

[QUOTE="DaBrainz"]Looks like a good fighter...but I still have no idea what Tatsunoko is.:?DaBrainz

Tatsunoko is a big Japanese studio responsible for all the anime that this game draws characters from.

Are there any characters a normal US American would be familier with(Voltron, Speedracer...cant think of anymore japanese cartoons, what about astroboy)?

Speedracer, samurai pizza cats(ooh ya, haha), robotech and neon freakin' genesis evangelion. Those are some series tatsunoko seems to have been involved with, i don't really recognize many of the others. Also, i don't know if any characters from those series will be involved..

It's not leaving Asia, so this is really frusterating to watch.

The Hype for this is getting out of hand.
