Who the heck is hyping this AAA? The originals didn't get AAA in their time, they won't now. I really think these hype poles need to go. This is a pretty clear indication that either other fanboy are artificially inflating the hype, or people are just plain stupid.

That, and I think when the poll was first put up, it wasn't review scores. Seems like the (A, AA, AAA, etc) in parenthesis got added to the poll after the fact, so if any votes were already put down, they skew the result. Doesn't really matter. It very likely won't get reviewed anyway, and if it does, it doesn't matter what Hype was set at, people will call it a flop anyway, even if it meets hype, if it is less than AAA (see R3 thread) and it won't count in the Metagame (which is all that hype/flop/A-AAA/E status matters for anyway). So whatevs.
How come a really crappy game (OoT) in 3D remake gets 9.5 while this masterpiece only 8.5? Well review scores have never made sense and they won't start with it now.
well I've beaten both numerous times. I personally prefer ICO to SOTC, but I'm very excited for the framerate fix in SOTC. I'll more than likely be rebuying these in one package even tho I still own the PS2 versions of both.. as for score, I can care less, but I think it'll probably score an 8.0-8.5 on here.
Just checked the review on Gametrailers, and didn't see any mention about some form of visual upgrade. In fact, during the review I noticed some visuals problems that I could definitely tell on PS2.
The experience I've had with these games is still very fresh in my mind, so the interest is very low for me. That said, I'd definitely give a recomendation for the games to newcomers. You may end up playing it and wonder what all the fuss was about, others will love it to death. Whatever your opinion though, it's an interactive experience worthy of your time. So yes try it.

The Splinter Cell Trilogy scored 6.0 so they're reviewing collections from now on, I guess.
OOOH I had no idea they were releasing it this month. So many games to play and so little time....meh, I don't care. I'm going to pre order this right now. :P
