DOA = Garbage. I'm reffering to the whole series. How much DOA games have been released 7? when NG2 comes out on PS3 with better graphics and tilt, don't come crying to me. I'll be playing Paper Mario on Wii

DOA has been a good series except the ones on the PS. And Team Ninja has sdone games besides it you know

I know, i'm just bugging you. NG2 is exclusive.......................for now. :)

In an interview with Itagaki, he said that he is sticking with the X360 and could care less about the PS3. Ninja Gaiden: Sigma will be a port of NG1 for the PS3 but he said that this does not mean he is switching to it; he actually said he is completely focused on the X360 more now than ever. Let this be known(to cows in partiicular)

games planned and in development from them:

Ninja Gaiden: Sigma -NG1 port- PS3
Ninja Gaiden 2 - sequel- X360
Code Cronus - action, new ip- X360
Project Progressive- action, new ip- X360
(the order of release is not known yet but Ninja Gaiden 2 is confirmed to come out before project progressive and code cronus)

keep in mind, MGS2 was ported to the xbox, a console of the same generation even. Did MGS3 ever touch it even?

It's already been announced, Ninja Gaiden 2 Omega, for the PS4, so yeah, it will be multiplatform! :)

First of all, MGS2 on XBOX did terrible... terrible (didn't look good either). MGS3 beat it by miles. As we speak, My brother is playing Metal Gear Solid 3. Second of all, Itagaki is a sell out. He is a Japanese man who put Master Chief in his games. He wishes he was American.

It depends on the sales of Sigma, If Sigma sells like 1-2 million or more then I guarantee that NG2 will be on PS3.

i agree but i dont think itll sell that well. and MS will probaly do something either way- Itagaki has said to have a close relationship to them

Actually, he said that if it did well he'd port it (Sigma) to 360...one of those interview links that are floating around.

It says a lot more than that but I imagine you only read what you wanted to read (it isn't 4 pages of 'Rachel'.)

At any rate, i'll take Itagaki's words with a grain of salt, i'm sure he's happy of how NGS is turning out on the PS3. And I wouldn't be surprised if a NG2 spinoff is in the works later down the road.

i was referring only to the part it mentions rachel, not what the whole thing says.
and Team Ninja seems to be that they do not create spin off games; everything takes place inside of the same universe. The main character in NG, Ryu, is a character from Dead or Alive. Same with Ayane. Code Cronus will feature characters from DOA also, same with Project Progrressive. They all make sense together

i remember watching an interview on IGN.com were the devs said they spoke to microsoft reguarding ninja gaiden being on the ps3. now you need to ask yourself this...why would microsoft let this game go to the ps3 when they;re main goal this gen is to gain more of japanese market? simple... if ninja gaiden sigma is a huge successful on the ps3 and fans of the game want a sequel...guess which console will they have to buy in order to play it :wink:

MGS2 sold poorly so Kojima learned where his fanbase was and MGS sold very well on the PS2. NG sold poorly. As much as MS fans hype it, the truth is it sold poorly. This is why NGS is going to the PS3 and if/when it sells well NG2 will go to the PS3 as well easily. And NGS is not a port but a built from the ground up remake of NG with alot of features they left out in the original. Dont you see the politics here, he has his second in command say he is for the PS3 and makes the port and IItagaki says he wont lose focus for the 360 and overall Team Ninja looks like it supports both. He praises the 360 because that is where his current fanbase is but when NGS sells extremly well and he realizes he has a fanbase there too he will show even more love to the PS3. Your naive to think that NGS is the end of NG for the PS3.

Hate to tell you but NG did not sell systems last gen. Not by a long shot and will not be a game that MS will carelessly throw money at. I mean everyone thinks MS can just buy any game but look at their exclusives. Not many, and not many third party exclusives without being also published buy MS.

You people think they worship a specific consol like it's their flesh and blood, while the truth is, they'll always go where the outcome is the most. They're just earning their income, and if saying they offer their loyalty to a specific console will help with that then they will do it without thinking twice. If 360 fails NG2 will go to the PS3 If PS3 fails MGS4 will go to the 360 As long as they get their pay.

Hey, it is a business after all. But there are instances where developers have jumped ship for specific reasons and really don't want to do business with a another platform...Factor 5 for starters, left Nintendo to work on the PS3 because they liked the hardware. Itagaki decided he liked the Xbox platform for the same reason. He likes the way MS has treated his dev team So he decides that he will deal with them exclusively..DOA has not been on another platform since he switched over and NG is been done by a different team within the company...

that was dumb..lol..everyone already know ng is a great game even though it was only for xbox...i wanted to spend my money to get the xbox but thankfully i didnt since it was only one game that im buying for it and thats ng...even though people heard the reviews and see how great it is they still didnt purchase the xbox just for ng..if sigma do good on the ps3 they will bring ng 2 later on..i hope..but if they decided only to put on the 360..i guess im out of luck..but right now it looks like it will come to ps3..ng already lost exclusive every since they annouced ninja gaiden sigma..
