When I was a teenager, at least where I was from, the Xbox brand always seemed "cooler" than the PlayStation 2.

Makes me laugh when those same teenagers grow older and realise they eventually become just as boring as those boring adults they used to mock when they were young. Nobody stays young forever! :P

In all seriousness that actually makes sense, younger teens don't have disposable income. Where as 18 to 25 year olds, with jobs, tend to have money of their own and a lot of them still live with their parents, meaning they do have money to be frivolous with.

The brand's always been popular mostly with kids ever since the 360 (i dunno about the original), it's obvious by just observing their edgy marketing campaigns. Mostly in the US, which is natural given that that's where it originally came from.

What a useless study.. Playstation has always had a strong older teen - young adult sort of target ever since the original. You don't need a damned study to tell you that.
