Tekken 6 coming to Xbox 360

The article is dated and....Cake? .....lol. I do hope you spotted the date on that article. A lot of signs point to being PS3 exclusive due to it's history on a Playstation console, and the joint project they have with Sony. Who knows though. But I'm gonna go check out that EGM mag today on that Soul Calibur 4 stuff.

The graphics look like they are entirely built around a waffle iron so I'm sure the 360 could handle this game easily. The only problem would be Blu-ray HD endings. I just have one request.  Make Paul Phoenix a 360 exclusive character.JiveT

What? No, I meant what I said. They sell around 150-180k here in the US. Now add 20-30k in Europe, and we won't mention the low number in Japan and it will average out 200k.

I think the 360 sold around 170k once but has been above that every other month and never close to 150k. I also seriously doubt the rest of the world only consist of 50k a month of 360 sales. Even Japan is work close to 10k on its own!

What's common sense telling you? 

There are many reasons why teken 6 wont come to 360

1. The arcade version is being made on a machine that is identical to the PS3's technology.
2. Sony has always published the Tekken series so I doubt they would stop publishing it now.

Not many are "excited" as such, but Tekken stands as being a key PS franchise which has been on the PlayStation for like. Eternity. It coming to 360 is a bad sign of things to come, and counts as yet another PS3 exclusive lost (Something the PS3 really doesn't need right now), giving 360 fans System Wars leverage.

True, it's definately a sign of things to come. Even shane from EGM accepts that MGS4 will eventually go multiplat. I jut dont think that this is particularly exciting. VF5, DMC fair enough. But Tekken? 

 

T I'd just tell Namco to keep that trash off the 360. Tekken was garbage to me ever since I played Tekken 3 for PS1.

Namco Bandai uses the Cell chip for its new arcade machines.

Namco Bandai announced that its new arcade releases will be developed on Sony's Cell processor, which is a key component in the powerhouse PlayStation 3. This marks the first agreement Sony has made to embed the Cell chip in other hardware formats.

Tekken 6, a fighting series traditionally built for arcades and the PlayStation platform, will be Namco's first demonstration of an arcade title built on the Cell architecture. No release date has been given, but the title will be available in amusement parks and various arcade establishments in Japan.

1) Every game Namco has released for the PS3 so far has failed to reach their lowest expectations.

2) Tekken sells better outside of Japan.

Namco would be dumb not to learn from the mistake Sega made with Virtua Fighter 5.

Kinda funny though, Evolution and Big Bang aren't fully proven.
Although I believe they could happen, people have to learn to accept things that can't be proven.
