after a while i ask myself why i own a ps3:roll:
This topic is locked from further discussion.
I just want that December release date to be true.rockguy92
Most likey It isnt, and probably it will be ported to 360.
When a third party Ps3 game shows no sign of progress in its development we know what they are using the time for
same here..after a while i ask myself why i own a ps3:roll:

I bought that thing for exclusives only, atleast untill all my friends have a ps3. sony should secure some exclusives allready. seriously..
if it is true, me and my friends will probably buy it on the 360..oh well, atleast I get to play the game
Jim... They are indeed out of their minds and Broke... They wont pay for any game no matter how important it is to keep it exclusive.AgentA-Mi6
Aside from MGS4. But they should definately pay for T6.
this is getting out of control....now tekken 6 possibly going to 360....
damn :(, sometimes i feel bad for having a PS3....since its "exclusives" will be on 360 too
yes i know...it will still be on PS3...but exclusive games are a decide factor when getting a console....isnt it ?

They Didnt pay for that one either, all they did was a petty advertisement deal and buy copies for the 80gig Bundle, there is no contract nor millions paid to keep it Ps3 exclusive.
Sony is alone

what should i say ? i have all 3 systems and was planning too pick out the diamonds on each console !
600 euro for metal gear is really not cheap ! :(
im not worried.....sure lemmings can say that is coming for the xbox 360 (cause thats what lemmings do now-a-day anyways)....but look at mgs4 :D ....they are gonna be waiting their whole lives wasting their time wishing for a game thats never gonna come on their system.
so im actually happy that lemmings are wasting their time :)
the way companies are acting it probably will go the the 360. this gen is different its all about 1st and 2nd party now. plus this really is not going to hurt sony like everyone thinks. gta 4 dmc4 and vf5 all come out tfor the 360 as well and there not helping the 360. the ps3 is still catching up fast. 4 million behind

For fighting games that is an easy answer. No one wants to play a fighting game on the craptastic 360 D-pad.

If you haven't found any games on the PS3 to enjoyother than Metal Gear than you are just a poor excuse for a gamer. There are plenty of exclusives on the system in various genres.

His quote does say he "owns all 3".
Namco usually take a while to convert to consoles after the arcade version, so don't speculate. Namco have stated that they want SC4 to be out before Tekken anyway. Additionally, there have been many changes so far (some for the franchise as a whole and some specifically for home release):
Namco have stated that they don't want the PS3 version to disappoint fans (much like Tekken 4 did). I've also read somewhere that they're looking for ways to fill the blu-ray disc, so it could be a lot different from the arcade version. I wouldn't be surprised if this gets pushed back to 2009, they're doing a lot of work, so don't automatically assume that it's going to the 360.
"It would be a shame if it's just exclusive for the Playstation 3 console. People would have to buy a PS3 or go to the arcades to play Tekken 6"
There is a whole lot of fanboy in this publication it seems. I highly doubt they would feel the same way about Gears or Halo. God forbid a platform holder that isnt Microsoft could possibly retain exclusivity on one of its main AAA third party titles.

- Totally new animations for PS3 version (fans of the series know that many have been recycled since the 1st)
- Multi-tiered stages
- Far more detailed customization
- Item moves
- Rage system (similar to Tekken tag's system where the partner deals more damage if his/her partner is close to KO)
- Bigger health bar
- Yoshi, Law and Lei have undergone some drastic changes, yoshi's sword attacks aren't unblockable and allegedly Bruce Lee fans will be pleased with Law's changes :)
- Other characters have been tweaked, Heihachi for instance has lost his Twin Pistons move
- New bounce effect extends juggles
- Possibly all characters voices will be changed for PS3 release
- 3 new characters, making it the biggest Tekken roster yet (more than Tekken Tag  )
- Also, traditionally music has been altered and often changed for home releases, one could assume that this version will be no different

Tekken 6 will continue to be King!
I wonder how much law will change? Will it be Marshall Law or Forest Law?[QUOTE="gingerdivid"]Namco usually take a while to convert to consoles after the arcade version, so don't speculate. It's going to be Marshall Law, just without the beard (they should bring back his Tekken 2 voice, he sounded far more badass then). Allegedly he's going to be slightly harder to master, but if he can still flip then all is good, right? I didn't think he could be more like Bruce Lee, but apparently he can, should be interesting to see.I'm happy that yoshi has changed, he always catches me out when he balances on that sword, and I'll always block his long combo's only to be struck with an unblockable swipe with the sword at the end.
Jin's sub boss this time around, there's an odd bonus boss called Nancy (non playable) and a boss called Azareal (not sure if he's unlockable, but he's not Jinpatchi, so that's good news).
Nice. His voice in Tekken 2 was better too IMO. I just hope they make Law's fighting stance animation less dramatic. I think it's too loose (I'm gonna check out some videos featuring him at GT). Other than that he's a great character.
Another thing that bothers is the Rage System. I hope you can turn it off in some online matches. Please be optional. I mean, I wouldn't want my opponent to become more powerful because I did my job and beat the brakes off of them lol. But maybe it'll turn out great and somehow balanced :?
haha the interview is just sad haha saying that it would be a shame if its just on ps3..fanboys....
but other then that wat is this game still doing in development..its going to play like every other tekken....im hyping this game a 7.5
Ver true, same goes with FFXIII jmdude
Not true, there was never a contract between Square and Sony, Square just started making FF games for the Playstation because it was a better system than the n64.
Although there's a lot of wishful thinking, there's more evidence against it going to 360 than not. But there's still a chance of it going multiplat.

Namco had to make the arcade version as well as the PS3 version and make sure online works. They also wanted to put SC4 out first. To release two popular fighters like Tekken and Soul calibur in the same time period is overkill.
It'll probably make the game more intense, but of course, a hard earned fight back is far more rewarding. It'll be one of those things you'll dislike when it's used against you, but when you're low on health you'll be calling for it. I'm not sure if it's optional, it probably should be.Nice. There's plenty of competitive vids on youtube aswell (many are 10 minutes long), you'll see what the bounce system is like too, the animation is so smooth it's hard to even look at Tekken 5 again.

u do bring up a very good point...i just hope this game seriously delivers....i miss using bryanWTF with Sony this #@%$@#% generation?.... Losing major exclusives one after another... pffffAzatiSNot confirmed and most evidence points to the contrary.
No need to worry.
1- Why do cows care if they lose the exclusive rights. It isn't like they lose the game forever
2- Its a third party game so it is always in danger of going multiplat
3- The PS3 D-Pad will always be better than the 360 gamepad
4- More than likely Tekken 6 will hit PS3 first
5- Apparently the arcade uses the Cell
6- Tekken sells alot but is it really a "KILLER APP EXCLUSIVE" that changes everything like FF 13 or GTA 4 being multiplat? no atleast IMO
"Philippines Premier Gaming Magazine", Wow, just wow. Major reliable source.
Two consecutive questions about the game's exclusivity, "Will it be exclusive to the PS3 console?" and "Will Tekken 6 be available in other consoles like the Xbox 360?"
Biased interview, "It would be a shame if it's exclusive for the PS3 console, people would have to buy a PS3 or go to the arcades to play Tekken 6"
I wonder if they would say, "It would be a shame if Gears2 is exclusive for the xbox 360, people would have to buy a xbox 360 to play Gears 2"
IMO this interview has no reliability whatsoever.

Yes it is and its the reason i exchanged my 360 for a PS3 what a waste of time MONEY AND EFFORT that was!
Sony are a bunch of wash outs and they need to start pulling some seriouse weight to get people back.
1- I have all 4 systems
2- DOA 4 I heard isn't even a deep fighter compared to Tekken, which isn't all that deep either when compared to a Virtua Fighter
3- Tekken is a better franchise
4- Its a good game, why wouldn't you want a good game on your system(im sure some hermits would love to see Tekken on PC)
I don't personally care as in my situation i can just get it no matter what, but above all.....I suck at fighters and can never get into them. The only ones i actually enjoy are Smash Bros. Series(which is more about speed, environment, and mayham), and Soul Caliber- but i only liked SC 2- hated SC 3.
And even then I am average at SC, and just good at Smash Bros. So for me i really don't care what happens to the game. I'm just saying Cows are mad that this game might go multiplat. WHy? You still get to play itjg4xchamp
1- I've got 3 of the four, considering getting a 360 if Gears 2 doesn't make it to PC.
But the reason I'm against multiplat is it makes the systems so similar there's no reason for competition, say if every PS3 game goes multiplat then who would want a PS3? No one would, and that would lead to MS dominating the market thus leading to a crash in the market.
I understand the companies want to make money, but if every system has the same games then what's the point of having two consoles?
Edit: And no I wouldn't want it on PC, Fighting games are pretty fail on PC.

Yeah. As a multiplat gamer I want both 360 and PS3 to have MANY great exclusives. If not then I wasted my money buying multiple consoles this gen ... :|... :( ...
