tekken 6 for the 360 ??

I wouldn't be surprised if it happened. But saying that all of the Tekken games have been exlcusive to the Playstation platform with the exception of Tekken Advance, and Sony stopped Namco from making any other Tekken's of the GameBoy platform so I think they will have this one secured. If it does go to the 360 though I wouldn't be surprised. Fighting games aren't very popular nowadays so they need all the sales they can get.

Anyway, I really can't imagine playing a Tekken game with any controller other then the Playsation controller, it just wouldnt feel right. Not to mention the 360 has a terrible D-Pad, most people would still buy it on the PS3 I think.

I don't personally care as in my situation i can just get it no matter what, but above all.....I suck at fighters and can never get into them. The only ones i actually enjoy are Smash Bros. Series(which is more about speed, environment, and mayham), and Soul Caliber- but i only liked SC 2- hated SC 3.

And even then I am average at SC, and just good at Smash Bros. So for me i really don't care what happens to the game. I'm just saying Cows are mad that this game might go multiplat. WHy? You still get to play itTenP

1- I've got 3 of the four, considering getting a 360 if Gears 2 doesn't make it to PC.

But the reason I'm against multiplat is it makes the systems so similar there's no reason for competition, say if every PS3 game goes multiplat then who would want a PS3? No one would, and that would lead to MS dominating the market thus leading to a crash in the market.

I understand the companies want to make money, but if every system has the same games then what's the point of having two consoles?

Edit: And no I wouldn't want it on PC, Fighting games are pretty fail on PC.

No real interest in playing Teken 6 on the 360. :?

The fighting games are the least improved,least innovated upon, boring genre of this and maybe last gen. as well.

IMHO, this genre needs to be totally re-engineered and grow - better & better visuals on these do nothing for me.

I dunno quite what to do but hey, that's not my job. :P

A VF6 or T7 with a "groups fighting through an on-line adventure/RPG" would be a nice thought tho. :D

if it was a multiplat, i'd buy it for the 360

but if it's a PS3 timed exclusive, i don't know if i could wait for a 360 version, especially since this isn't even official

I've heard the same thing from various people but it sounds more like wishful thinking imo. Who cares if it goes multiplatform though?

I wouldn't be surprised since that SC4 is on 360. It would be good for Namco on their end to make more profit.

Namco/Bandai have been favoring X360. I've been saying this since last year when I went to a conference and talked with 2 of their reps. They specifically said Tekken exclusivity has not been decided YET. Their body language lead me to believe it was going to be a multiplat.

I don't know why people thought this game was going to really be exclusive. After all it's only a fighting game.....how many does it really sale? It's not like it's a Super Smash sales so I can see why they need to go multiplat.

"Has not been decided yet"? That's weird, why don't Sony simply step in and just bribe them? If they can do it with MGS4, they can easily do it with Tekken 6. After losing FF13, they may pull their heads out of their asses and try to keep it exclusive. After all, the previous 5 were only on PS consoles, I don't understand Sony's laziness and stupidity when it comes to 3rd party exclusives. They were pretty damn good at it back in the PS1 days.

Is it really hard to understand? The price of 3rd party exclusives are rising and cost more then in the PS1/PS2 days. The PS3 has cost SOny 3.3 Billion dollars and they want to focus on profit. PS3 owners will still get the game and Sony still has many 1st party studios that they don't have to worry about Microsoft trying to start a bidding war over.

im not worried.....sure lemmings can say that is coming for the xbox 360 (cause thats what lemmings do now-a-day anyways)....but look at mgs4 :D ....they are gonna be waiting their whole lives wasting their time wishing for a game thats never gonna come on their system.

I wont be surprised, the big games like gta and FF has jumped to the 360

why tekken wouldn't? Plus , if I was sony i wouldn't worry so much about tekken. It was a hell lot more important to care about FF and gta.

I don't know how much tekken sells in units, but I dont think its a system seller at all, most fighting games are not in this videogames era.

On the other hand, thats another reason keeping me from getting ps3.

I do hate microsoft and its stupid RROD and cheap hardware, but lets face it

they have the better online ,cheaper system, better game collection, NOT losing exclusives (console wise), more units sold.

for me there are two or 3 reasons to buy ps3 now. MGS , bluray player, and god of war. Other than bluray palyer , its not worth the investment. You might as well play it at friend's or even possibly rent it for sometime.

Yes it is and its the reason i exchanged my 360 for a PS3 what a waste of time MONEY AND EFFORT that was!

Sony are a bunch of wash outs and they need to start pulling some seriouse weight to get people back.

Yeah. As a multiplat gamer I want both 360 and PS3 to have MANY great exclusives. If not then I wasted my money buying multiple consoles this gen :lol:... :|... :( ... :cry:

as multiplat gamer you want some reward for the money you wasted on all 3 consoles and the best rewards are exclusives. now its more like which version should i get :|
