Thanks Ps3 , for Making me more and more addicted to WoW

I bought my ps3 at launch and I've always been a console gamer. I've just been waiting and waiting for good games to come out for the system to actually give me a reason to stop playing WoW and play my ps3 but aside from a few games like GTA , Uncharted and R and C the ps3 has really been lacking. It's just been the same delays over and over. Or games going multiplatform etc.

I mean here we are about 2 years after the launch and we're still waiting for KZ2 , FFXIII (multi) , GT5 , Tekken , White Knight Chronicles.

The ps2 was aweesome for RPGS but with the ps3 there have been next to none. .....Oblivion??...a game we got like a year after the pc and 360?..fail.

It really is too annoying. I guess I have no choice but to pickup a Xbox 360 tommorow. At least it's geared towards us gamers...not like sony's blu ray player which can play some games.

and 3 AAE games, 2 AAAE arcade games > 1 overated AAAAE, so i'd say 360 is still better than ps3

im talking about the 360 too. ToV, VP2, NG2, Braid, Geo Wars 2, Castle Crashers. one game no matter how good does not beat out many good games especially when the online portion is completely broken and most reviews simply ignored that fact.

plus, the install base of the ps3 is too freaking small comparing to the huge PC install base.

Well duh if you bought a console to play games and it's rivals are actually caring and keeping their games exclusive Infinite discovery , NG 2 , Mass Effect etc ....while Sony just lets it's games go multi without trying to get any of the rivals games on it's consoles yea it's annoying. They aren't giving us what we want...aka games. Instead they keep churning out talk and more talk.

They acted like HOME was gonna be so great last year only to see it have a huge delay.

Haha. This doesn't seem like a PS3 problem at all, but a WoW addiction. In fact, I knew a lot of people who dropped playing their consoles for several months just to get extra time in on their favorite MMORPG. My sister's boyfriend plays Final Fantasy XI on the Xbox 360, and he wants me to join in. I told him no simply because I've played it before on the PC and it felt like a job rather then a game. His roommate caught the RROD while playing it.

He'll pick his PS3 up if some over the top MMO, comes out. I want to get a PS3 just for MAG. Actually, I'm kind of piss because Marvel Universe was cancelled on the Xbox 360, and the PS3 is still get DC Universe. Well, at least Cryptic Studios new Superhero MMORPG, Champions Online is coming to the 360.

So what you're saying is if for what ever reason we DON'T like MGS4 we're either fanboys or hater???? It doesn't matter that what you think ,or anyone else for that matter, is nothing more than OPINION. I'm playing MGS4 at the moment and I don't think it's all that. So does that make me a fanboy or hater or fanboy?

Don't try and pass off YOUR opinion as fact. 1 game doesn't make a system the winner in a circle no matter how much you wish it to be.

agreed. people here in SW seem to think multiplats are 360 exclusives. if a game is on both consoles, its a bad thing for PS3 and a good thing for 360.

I really enjoy my PS3.... for those who get the console and then complain it has no games, they are simply fakeboys.... I guess common sense is not so COMMON after all, because before i get a console I usually do some research in the form of price/bundles, games out & upcoming titles, specs, warranty etc etc... then i get the console that seems best suited for me...

Also if someone has a PS3 and the below are not in his/her interest then why post in a gaming forum... surely gaming is not for you..

And yet i hear people stating that there is nothing that appeals to them on PS3....... in that case considering that PS3/360/PC have practically the same type of games library with the exception for MMO & RTS for PC, the only option is getting a Wii since it has a totally different games library..

I'm pretty much the same as you, except i wont be selling it.

With LBP coming out soon it'll finally get some decent use compared to the little time MGS4 got, the boss battles where ace and the presentation was cool, but the gameplay was lacking IMO.

agreed that the ps3 doesnt have much.....AT THE MOMENT but i agree with the cows now that the ps3 has a good number of interesting looking titles coming so i myself am getting my first sony console around xmas time.

Put install base of system owners in your equation. Billion at least PC owners vs 15 million PS3 owners. Yea MGS4 is doin good.

A WOW addict is a WOW addict nothing more. I've got 2 friends like that and they can't get away from that game for nothing and I mean nothing. One is messing with Spore a little but at the end of the day he is back on WOW. He messed with cod4 for about a week and then back to WOW. The problem isn't the ps3 dude its your addiction to WOW. And no game and no console will help you until you delete your account from WOW I promise.

And also I have a account for WoW and played about 4 hours and never touched it again. So I guess you can minus that account from that 11 million lol. Matter afact I also know 3 other people who has an account and never really played it, so use that 11 million number as a grain of salt, cause there has been alot of people that makes an account tries it out and never uses it again.

Bottom line dude is that there is no end to WOW, NO End. So what your doing is pointless and waisting your day, your life and waisting $15 a month for a game that has NO end. Hate to be harsh but what I've seen, WOW is just as bad as Crack for some people and to their lives.

P.S. When I mean no end, there is no end, think there is a expansion pak coming this month or next for it again lol.

I don't think so. The game has good story telling, but that's about it. Gameplaywise, the first and third metal gears were better.

Just wait a bit longer, there are a number of quality titles on the PS3 on the horizon

exactly, I own 1 and 2 but i ain't going near the ps3 until it has what I want and until i can afford it. Dont buy hardware early and complaning about it lacking. ......noobs these days....
