God damn that shit is tough, so many could be easily interchangeable. For just about every spot, I could think of at least 3 deserving people for many different reasons. I know it's a lot to keep up with, but I wish we could vote for runners-up as well.

@Heil68: i also bought a lot and Gamefly'd a lot of games for Wii U this year, but doing the same for PS4 (or any other console) simply feels like a waste of money, because I could get those same games for significantly cheaper and better quality if I simply wait a few months on Steam and get it for less than $10.

@kuu2: I believe sigs were about the only way to actually promote voting in the past. Such as a "Vote for Zassi" sig would be appropriate, but no thread creation or posting in topics like that. I assume the same would be as it's just a sig and it can say what you want it to say (within the guidelines of the ToU :P )

And I've gotta say, I'm impressed by the person(s) who have wasted their time filling out the votes with troll votes like BBC and what-not, only to have them shortly deleted. It's not the fact that they go out of their way to be morons and mess with the votes like they are, but that they don't let that get in the way of "Flop of the Year" and "System of the Year." Even a troll feels the need to answer those questions truthfully. :P

And yes, I know it's a drop-down list of votes for those two categories lol

Voted. I'm just an occasional lurker these days, but it seems things haven't changed much. Same people in the same roles.

For platform fanboy awards I went with the more trollish types instead of legit discussion makers. I just find that easier.

A few months? Hardly in all cases with some of the most high profile games. Games that came out over a year ago are still not at the $10 price point or even out at all like GTAV. I would never wait that long to play some of the best games put out and I would never buy them new at full price on PC either, or at least digitally unless they offer a substantial savings.

I will get the PC version of games when/if they hit that $10 price point, but its not just a few months.

Compounding the problem for me is my lack of interest for first party Nintendo games and buying them just because they are available when you have no interest in them is a waste of money too.

I'm building a new PC next year too and I wont change my buying habits then either.

It simply comes down to personal tastes and Nintendo doesn't do it for me anymore, Cheers to those who like and enjoy their games, but for me I have no reason to ever buy one of their consoles ever again.
