always been sensitive to this shit but it was a bit hard to tell with the 2 plane games, especially the one where the background is all white because it's hard to tell frame-rate when the camera hardly moves. But when there's tons of movement you can instantly tell because the missing frames turn into blur.

And before you come with some shit like, but Call of Duty on consoles is 40-50 whatever frames. Games hardly ever stay locked at a constant frame-rate even on powerful PC's. Games are rendered in real time unlike movies. That's why we use Vsync even if it increases latency. The Triple buffer for smoother visual experience but the latency is still there. And then finally that new stuff called G-Sync that is supposed to do the same thing as Vsync but without the latency.

I gave you a huge hint when I said it's the most popular franchise on console.

@newxerxes: If GUE1 is right, and you're refering to COD, it doesn't stay at a locked 60. Neither does Battlefield for that matter.

I honestly can't tell if people are being serious or not when they say they can't see the difference. Hell, I even had my hand on the left side of the screen and even then I could tell whether it was 30FPS or 60FPS.

It's 60 fps the majority of the time and if it wasn't capped at 60 then the average would be above 60.

10 of 11 and arma aside it never took more than 3-4 seconds to tell the difference. Also same here with Arma not finding it. Probably because the static cockpit was taking most of the screen

The Arma one got me too...
I'm not convinced that the Arma vids are processed correctly...
The movement of the horizon on the supposedly wrong video was more fluid.
Maybe the rotors messed with the brain.
I use Firefox, and 30 vs 60 is very noticeable to me.

Even TLOU Remastered isn't 60 fps most of the time on PS4, it even dips down in the low 40's.

How do you know that it's not 60 fps most of the time?

11/11 Like I said earlier, only insecure consolites claim to have vision so bad they can't tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps. Unless of course the game is 60fps on their console lol

Most games I cant notice if they're 30fps or 60 fps but some 60fps games I can feel their fluidity like Rage, Battlefield 4, CoD, DMC4, etc

10/11. The helicopter one was difficult to tell. The racing towards the sun is actually pretty easy if you just focus on the ship when its strafing.

Same here, plus the 60FPS one was always on the right side for me.

11/11. If you can't tell the difference with the majority of htem....you got some eye problems. Some are stupid though like that airplane game with a white background. Who the fvck decided to use that to show 60fps and 30fps, there's almost nothing going on......?

What is printscreen....

It only took me like 3-4 seconds per video. Only one I had to watch was the Ninja Turtle one... After I seen the camera make quick turns it was easy to spot.
