Forza 3? It looks pretty damn good to me, and I don't even like racing sims. ODST is a full game. 6 hour campaign is hardly a difference that Uncharted's, plus it's got Firefight. Shadow Complex will probably win the downloadable section. That's fairly good. Plus, 360 has multiplats. Arkham Asylum's a strong contender.

Why don't you sit down with a 360 for a while if you obviously can't see anything good about it?

It certainly does have contenders. I can see Modern Warfare 2 winning it possibly. Its just the PS3 has such a big title this year. U2 is such a HUGE improvement over the first uncharted that i can see it winning GOTYNidget

When I made a claim that WOW would get GOTY right before it, halo 2, and half life 2 were released, people said the same thing. The thread went on for about 14 pages of people LOLing @ me saying its impossible for an MMO to win GOTY. Reposting that one after WOW won the award is still my greatest moment here because not 1 person agreed with me. It was like BAM!!! The quality of downlaodable games is rising, and I very well could see one winning some year that starcraft 2 or diablo 3 are not being released.

I don't own a PS3, I don't even like the system. Fact is ODST is not going to win anyone's game of the year award. It's most like going to be Uncharted 2, and it deserves to be. It doesn't matter one bit in the scheme of anything. It's one GAME among thousands. It doesn't change the fact that the TC is a loser. And all of you sound just as bad or worsecrying about it. "2010 will be the year of the 360", "Forza" lol. Get over it, Uncharted 2 will deserve it. Say gratz and move on with your lives.

and the ps3 has just one.theres no way killzone 2 will get goty. and infamous is in no way contending. uc2 is the only one that has a chance.and we havent even seen it yet. so quit acting like the ps3 has all the exclusives.and the 360 has none. the count here on GS for AAA is ps3: 2, 360:1. and most likely uc2 and forza 3 will both get AAA. multi-plats will dominate this year like all the others this gen.

ODST is a FULL GAME, how many times must that be said how many times does the game have to get AAA to prove it to you braindead fanboys. Forza 3 is getting massive praise from the press and is looking to get AAA as well. Who knows about shadow complex, it is better than most full priced games out there.

ODST: Four hour campaign, three new maps, and one new mode.

Certainly sounds like a full game.

Forza could be nominated for it. I don't think ODST will be nominated but in the back of my mind I know it will because its a Halo game. Who knows, it'll probably win...

It does have contenders but not that many exclusives. I think the PS3 has the most exclusive contenders this year though. Contenders and nominees are nice but I'm looking forward for the official winners more.
