Cleaned it up
1. Thanks for cleaning that mess up.
2. Listed above are the games I plan on buying (if I can scrounge up the cash). I also added CoD4, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, and Lost Odyssey.
I've been gaming since 1977 and have owned a lot of consoles. Namely Atari 2600, Colceovision,NES, Sega Genesis, PS1, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, 360, Wii The amount of quality games coming out this fall is something I have never seen on any console at any point in time. The Fall lineup for the 360 is almost to much to deal with, below is my game queue from gamefly, these are only the games I'm interested in, as there are even more releases that are coming out. Missing is COD4 as they don't have a date for it at gamefly. The 360's fall lineup is easily the best ever and it's going to hurt trying to play and pay for all of these games. There is no way the PS3 gains ANY ground on the 360 with this lineup.All-Pro Football 2K8

ESRB: Everyone 10+ Xbox 360 / X Box 360 Games
NASCAR 08 (multiplat, day/date)
Madden NFL 08 (multiplat, day/date)
Bioshock (exclusive)
Stranglehold (miltiplat, day/date)
Medal of Honor: Airborne(mulitplat, 2 month advantage)
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (multipat, day/date)
Mass Effect(exclusive)
Timeshift (supposedly multipat, exclusive this year?)
Halo 3(exclusive)
Half-Life 2: The Orange Box (multiplat, day/date)
Sega Rally Revo(multiplat, day/date)
Grand Theft Auto IV(multplat, day/date)
Mercenaries 2: World in Flames(multiplat, day/date)
Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation (exclusive)
Conan(multiplat, day/date)
NBA 2K8(multiplat, day/date)
Virtua Fighter 5(multiplat, PS3 has had since Feb)
Assassin's Creed(multiplat, day/date)
WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2008(multiplat, day/date)
Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway (multiplat, day/date)
Army of Two (multiplat, day/date)
Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction (exclusive, at least this year)
So, what you technically have over PS3 is really just BioShock, Halo 3, Mass Effect, Ace Combat 6, Splinter Cell Conviction and Timeshift (timed exclusive). PS3 this year has Warhawk, SOCOM, LAIR, H. Sword, Ratchet & Clank, Folklore, and timed exclusives like Haze and UT3.
Is there really that significant difference?
I can't wait for a lot of those games, specifically Two Worlds, Bioshock, Medal of Honor: Airborne, Mass Effect, Timeshift, Halo 3, Half-Life 2: The Orange Box, Grand Theft Auto IV, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation, Assassin's Creed, Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway, Army of Two, and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction. :D

"Is there really that significant difference?" Yes the 360 is the only place to get all of these titles and it is also the cheapest way to get these titles, also the vast majority of multi plats have run and looked better on the 360. Considering the PS3's luck it would not be surprising to see some of the multi plats titles get delayed for the PS3. This is not a complete list of releases for the 360 this is just the ones I'm interested that gamefly has dates with.swanlee
What? lol, I just got got finishing that list to prove the majority of it is multiplat and yet you are still saying it's the only place to get these titles? I realize you love your X360 but please base your argument in reality.
Also you have no clue how they are going to look. This idea that X360 looks and runs better is laughable....people need to nit pick phone lines having jaggies to say one is of lower quality. Are you saying the average X360 gamer is making it's purchase based on graphical differences that people can't really see?
Yes it's not the complete list of releases but guess what.....the others you haven't listed are more than likely multiplat as well lol. All you have proven is the 4th qtr has a strong title list for the PS3 and X360....that's it.
Most of these games will be on the PS3 as well, but each system will have their own exclusives and timed exclusives.
PS3: Warhawk, SOCOM, LAIR, H. Sword, Ratchet & Clank, Folklore, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, UT3, Haze, etc...
XBox 360: Halo 3, Mass Effect, Blue Dragon, Bioshock, Ace Combat 6, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Moto GP 07, SKATE, Huxley, Shadowclan, Fatal Inertia, etc..
It's a great time to be a gamer. That's all I have to say.

I have to disagree with your original post and this one as well. First off, most of the games you listed are multiplats. Secondly, the PS3 has just as an amazing lineup as the 360. It really comes down to prefernce--but to call one better than the other is a little fanboyish. PS3 gets Uncharted, Warhawk, HS, UTIII, Haze, LBP, etc this holiday season. Where 360 gets Halo, Bioshock, Mass Effect, and I think Blue Dragon. Both lists are excellent in their own right. And this will be the best video game line up between the two systems in the history of gaming.
Personally, I ammore excited with the PS3's lineup, but I can respect the 360s and realize that they both rock and offer different games for different people. Also note that recent multiplats have looked identical on both systems over the past few months--see the darkness, RS:V, and Oblivion.
Really how could you ask for more. This is such a good list of games. Those games alone could carry me for a LONG time and this doe snot even include the announced 08 games. You may want to redo that list as it's hard to read. Here, I'll help.

truely this year for me is all about my 360, wii and pc but 08 will be the year my ps3 comes out of the closet
Is it in the 360 line up? Did he say exclusive list? No he did not so what is your point?Eltroz
people miss the point where this fall 07 is the only place to play all those games on just a 360
"YEA..UMM...I DONT THINK YOU SHOULDN'T COUNT MULTIPLATS." Why not the 360 so far has gotten the better versions of multi plats and they have been on time. All football games are 30FPS onthe PS3 while 60FPS on the 360. The 360 has the better fall lineup BY FAR. The 360 is also the cheapest way to play these multi plats. If you want to play Madden you will save $100-200 by going with the 360 to play it.swanlee
Again, as all of us have already stated--all of the recent multiplats look and play the same on both systems. Sure Fear and Splinter Cell were terrible ports. However, they were rushed and the devs did not have a very good understanding on how the hardware operates. Also, note that the 360 was the lead platform--whereas many multiplats coming this fall have been confirmed to be on the PS3 as the lead platform. However, none of this matters, as the multiplats will be running, playing, and looking identical (for all intense and purposes--I am not going to be one of the lame fanboys that claims ownage because the textures on the baseball cap of the fan sitting in peanut heaven looks a little crisper on one system over the other).
And correct me if I am wrong--but didn't EA confirm that Madden was now going to be running at 60fps? And I have mentioned in previous posts that the difference between 30fps and 60fps in slow moving games like Madden, RS:V, GeoW does not matter. The games that you will notice and it is important in are fast paced games like Ninja Gaiden or DMC. Not to mention that next year all football games will run at 60fps on PS3 as well. Don't forget that it took the third iteration of football games to get them to run at 60fps on the 360.
Lastly, yeah you are right that it is cheaper to play multiplats on the 360 over the PS3. But what is your point? I don't really know anyone that buys a system for multiplats. Usually people buy a certain system for exclusives. That is why I bought a PS3--the exclusives cater to my tastes. I think it would be stupid to buy a system just for multiplats. You should buy the system that will have the exclusives that you want to play. Oh, and wouldn't the Wii be even cheaper to play Madden on? Better yet--wouldn't the PS2 be cheaper to play Madden on. Heck, many of those multiplats will be on the PS2 (I think all of the sports related games will be).

So that leaves Mass Effect, Bioshock, Halo, Ace Combat, and Splinter Cell as you only exclusives on that list.

"There is no way the PS3 gains ANY ground on the 360 with this lineup"?
Most of the games you listed are multplat, lol.
The argument that it's cheaper to play the multiplats on the X360 over the PS3 is really hollow. Reason being you people are discussing buying somewhere in the range of $300 dollars in games that are just exclusive....not even counting the multiplats yet.Include 5 of those multiplat and you are looking at over $600 alone for games, but somehow peoplethink it's too expensive to pay an extra $100 to buy a PS3? Can you see why I'm confused.
IMO if people are going to be buying that many games the price difference between the PS3 and X360 is a non-issue.
What's really insane is the thought of affording even a fraction of all those games. Why couldn't I pick up a less expensive hobby, like knitting or leaf collecting?
I agree. It's the reason why I'm ONLY sticking to 1 console for this generation....the Xbox 360. There are just so much games to choose from that'll keep me busy yet so little time to balance my schedule if I bought more than one console (Wii & PS3).
Plus, Exclusives are what matters most. And 360 (not including PC) pretty much has the 3rd party support.

thanks for the cleanup. Bolds are the best ones IMO. Bolds+underlines are my faves and Assasin's Creed deserves all of them because other than Resident Evil 5, I have never ever looked forward to another game more.
