The 360 has nothing but shooters..

A statment often used by the 360 haters concerning it's lineup.. but I'm curious about something. What games do the other two system's offer (good one's that is) that are not of the shooting variety?

I know the wii has PM2, Zelda, Wiisports, Warioware and that's all I can think of...

The PS3 has Heavenly sword and um... that's all I can think of..

btw, I'm not bashing..

It's an argument used since the original XBox. It's also jealousy over our high scoring shooters. Hey I'd rather have a 9.5 Halo 3 than a 4.5 Lair. :lol:V_Isle

But that's what I'm getting at... Lair is a shooter.. a very bad one.. but a shooter.. As are alot of the PS3's best games..

"only shooters" is an obvious dramatization, but its pretty clear that the 360 doesnt provide many high quality titles beyond shooters.

Does it provide more than the Wii and the PS3? Yeah, i'd say so. But it doesnt look like the 360 will be branching beyond predominantly shooters for most of their high quality titles in the future. Meanwhile, the PS3 and Wii look more promising in that regards.

mass effect, too human, fable 2, and ninja gaiden 2 are probably the 4 most anticapated exclusives coming out soon off the top of my head an all are not shooters. sure in mass effect you have a gun but people in final fantasy have a gun so do we have to call that a shooter?

really games are made good from its action and the emotions they can draw. of course two people trying to kill each other is the best action and the best way to try to kill somebody is with a gun thats why most of the top games are shooters.

i will take only AAA shooters over PS3s 0 AAA game exclusives. their only exclusive over 8.0 heavenly flop 7 hour game are two shooters and their top game is a FPS multiplayer game which cows obviously dont like and if they did they wouldnt be cows or would be retarded ows.

Uhh it pretty much isn't, did you even read my post? Also, the fact is people who want lots and lots of platformers look to Nintendo. I've had a 360 since launch and I admit I love shooters, but, there is PLENTY of diversity trust me I play lots of different games. Just because you own a Wii or PS3 doesn't give you a right to bash a system containing 100s of great games witha LOT of diversity.

The PC doesnt have every genre. Yet for some odd reason lemmigns claim that the 360 offer every genre and that the 360 being largely shooters is a misconception. And yes, the PC does have those games and genres you mentioned, like Madden (its also on the PC, every year) and the DMC/MGS series is on the PC. Ah... but no... the PC ONLY has FPS, RTS, and MMOs. Apparantly giving you counterexamples, doesnt change that. But when lemmings list a single game of one genre, it means the 360 provides adequate support of said genre.
