Actually, hacking on the 360 version of TF2 (the only MP game in TOB) was once bad due to how little updating and support it gets. Now most of the hackers have dissipated due to the extremely low userbase. With L4D, hacking on the PC version isn't any worse than it is on the 360 version. In fact, hacking got so bad for the 360 version of L4D that it made news on various gaming sites.

As the for the PS3 rivarly i'ts a no brainer with the broken gameplay like killzone 2,MAG,uncharted 2 and reistance..It's no competion..With Halo you won't need another shooter in ur life

Halo 3 is a pretty average shooter. About the only thing it really has is the Halo name, the game it's self wasn't that great.

The PC has the better version of Left 4 Dead, Orange Box, CoD, and many others. Killzone 2's gameplay wasn't broken. Xbox 360 has some great shooters like Gears of War, but I think you're over-stating your case. Especially when you try to say that Halo 3 is the greatest FPS out there.

I generally don't play on user-made maps because alot of them simply aren't very good, save for a handful like what Valve includes in the TF2 update. As for mods, that's a completely different matter - I don't consider HL2CTF to be part of HL2DM.PannicAtack

CTF is a part of DM along with varients of DM such as my fav which is one where you get over powered shotguns and faster movement. its awesome. and some maps are essentially varients. such as grav only maps. or sniper maps. ect. and then you cant complain or critize if you dont try user maps. most are pretty damn good.

i agree with that, but not for the same reason. i would have stayed with it forever it never get old building a barricade with objects or killing someone with a toilet or hitting a nade back at the user. but the community wasnt there mainly because it was technically a separate addon and not bundled with HL2. it never should have been a $10 game.
