The 360 is the new POS2!

The ps3 is outselling the 360 world wide now... So you better hope halo last 10yrs cause the 360 is using it's wild card now :(

Yeah I think it is. Lots of hardware problem like what the PS2 had a few years ago. Lots of Xbox gamers use to call the PS2 the POS2 since it would break often. Now fast forward today and you see that the 360 is having problems but it does have the best games ofany current system out now. The 360 can recover from this and go on to sell over 100 million consoles like the PS2 did because the 360 is going to have the best games. :D

Oh I forgot to say that the 360 is going to get fixed by late this year or next year for sure. Like the PS2 that got fixed after a few years of problems MS is fixing the problems with the 360 too.:D

its because 360 came out early and got all the 3rd party support, instead of coming out later with a cosnole that doesnt blow up every five seconds. which i admit, for the company, was a great choice. not for the conusmer.

LOL, so you are comparing the disk read problems to the problems that the X360 has currently?

Let's see, complete hardware failure because it overheats, disk read problems because of drive failures (yep, this one is compareable to PS2), it EATS games, and there are more complaints if you look on their website.

Yes PS2 had a problem with the dvd drive........but the overall machine wasn't faulty. X360 the entire design was flawed from the beginning. When a repair center has to actually publically state it will no longer fix X360's because it's not fixable.....yeah I don't think I've EVER seen anything like that before.

Also keep this in mind. PS2 looks like it didn't have the high failure rate of X360 either. X360 does a basic recall of the machine with their 3 year warranty while Sony didn't feel the failure rate was high enough to warrant such an extreme measure.

Lastly, the X360 has been dropping in sales compared to last year (approx 30% drop).......if it's supposed to be like PS2 don't you think it should be going up, not down?

Yeah the 360 is selling better in the US then the Xbox did. If you count the price difference between the 360 and Xbox you see it is selling better.

You lost all crediablity the moment you said PS3 is a horrible system. If anything that is the only thing Sony has going for them, it seems to be the first console they made that is superior to the competiton. And no the Wii doesn't count as competiton because it's basically a GameCube so I'd hope they mastered that technlology in 7 years.

Its pretty crazy but my friends in Europe (mostly Spain where i lived, some in Italy) that have playstations are waiting until a football (soccer) game comes out for PS3 in order to buy one. So Fifa and PES sell consoles pretty much everywhere exept in NA.

Because the 12 million People who already own a 360 which is going to fail more often than john madden's heart, don't matter. Oh but Never fear, Microsoft Has a warranty! Yay, I can wait 6 weeks for free!mathew952

I don't remembered any of my friends, relative, forums spoke of PS2 major HARDWARE failure to such extreme that SONY need to extend their warranty.

My PS2 had a few freezes, disc read error ( which for me, by cleaning the disc corrected the problem ) and still lasted till now (bought half a year after launch).

I don't remember PS2 having such limited variety of games after almost 2 years since launch. (XBOX 360 has been almost out for two years).

PS2's design was outstanding for its period of time. From my point of view, PS3 looks more provocative than XBOX360. And I think by what the cows meant by "bulky" for the XBOX, it means it is too square. PS3 does'nt look any square to me and either does XBOX360. So how can you compare PS3 as bulky as XBOX??

By the way,i don't remember PS2's sales went down JUST on the second year.

Last but not least, at least PS2's controller doesn't has a battery pack sticking out at its back.

Now, why is XBOX360 the POS2?? ( OH please, don't remind the only similarity is that XBOX360 got released a year ealier than other consoles like what the PS2 did )

Sing Star and Buzz are not system sellers at all, they sell well but they are not system sellers. I'm not sure Rachet or Socam are either, the term system seller is a strong term.

Your biggest by far system seller in Europe was the Pro Evo series, before it went multiplat.

FF will only sell systems to the hardcore rpg crowd. Be great in Japan, but its not gonna be significant elseware.

And the five games that are listed at the bottom are unproven and barely franchises.

Ok PS3 owners, you will see A LOT of STUNNING looking games this gen but that doesn't mean they will all be good, why is it you see an amazing looking games and then hype it before you know anything about it. You did this the minute you saw the first White Night screens. Yet every good looking game is in your GOTY lists until proven otherwise, it doesn't make sense.

Cowsdid this to Assasins Creed before it went multiplat, now all cows (not calling the poster a cow) do is bash Ubisoft.

Yeah, I don't think anyone expected that including myself. Even though many people say M$ is all about the money (there a corporation they have to try and make the most money lol) They were willing to take a $1.3 Billion loss. I don't remember sony doing that for the PS2 when it had it's disk reading problems.

Where the hell were you when God of War 2 came out? Cory Borlog announced God of War 3 being in development for the Ps3. Though most likely they were working on concept art at the time.

However, God of War 3 is a 09' title so its fair to get it off the list.
