the 360's well is running dry

Before i'm called a fanboy,cow or any other name out there....I want the people to know that i have all three consoles and i dont WANT any of the three to fail... I'm not here to bash the 360. however i do think the PS3 is the most "Future Proof". Most of the 360's trump cards have already been played, not to mention the lingering stench of the RROD. Ill give MS gears 2 NG2 and mabey too human, (which we dont know too much about) but other than that theirs not many games to rant and rave about on the 360 that aren't multilplat...

Ps3 has titles Like Haze, GT5, GoOW3, FF13, MGS4, LBP, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, not to mention PS home!!!

When those games are on the will make the PS3 section at gamestop look a whole lot better for PS3 owners....

nah but in all fairness 360 has a great lineup this year, its just none of them are system sellers. They're cult-games that'll sell maybe 1-2 million each if that (besides Gears of War 2), but PS3's lineup is far superior, in terms of sales atleast.

Also running into 2009 too, Microsoft came into this gen too fast and tried to slug everyone in the first few rounds, but teh Muhammad Ali dont get pushed around, Sony and Nintendo is in for the long haul, and MS isnt cut out for it.

LBP looks great, it deserves to stay in the list, its killzone and Haze that need to get out

Anyways, LBP is looking like the most innovative title in years, so, that's pretty "special", Killzone 2 is getting hyped by OTHER developers at ever conference it appears, that should tell you something, Resistance 1 got like an 8.5 on gamespot and a 9.1 on the much more reliable IGN? If 8.5-9.1 is nothing special, then it's time we all quit gaming and move on.

i would disagree. look at the jump in install base between the first xbox and the 360. its a given that the PS3 has at least 2 exclusive system movers (GT5 and MGS4), but the 360 games list is certainly not anemic.

No. It brings to mind that awful Jet Li game for PS2 that used the analog sticks for attacks.

With all the money MS has, I find it hard for them to die out, I guaruntee u they wont sit around and just let sony have all the glory, this next gen will be a very tight race between MS and sony but I think wii will end up on top this gen.clintos59

The money doesn't flow that freely anymore because of the investers. M$ has been loseing market shares for a while and these shares are droping in value thus investers are getting less on there money as a return. With the failure of the Vista OS and the loses of the gameing devision from the past has made these investers nervous and if they get to nervous they could pull there money from the stocks thus driveing the stock values down even more. Granted these investers know that they can't just pull the plug on the game division now because this would cause a huge drop in stock values but they can tighten the money flow a great deal.

I don't think he was looking at the date specifically. Not being a fanboy here, I have a 360, but he did mention some of the top games coming out, I'm expecting good things from Alan Wake though. Go ahead though, add something to his list from 09 if you want..

That's true. What people are forgetting is that while 360 does have some absolutely awesome games coming out soon, the games coming out for PS3 are the games that people bought the PS3 for, and the games people are waiting to buy the PS3 for. I have several friends in my year at school who are waiting for MGS4 to be released, and then get their PS3's. Although the 360 has some awesome titles coming out, they are not the flagship titles. Halo 3 was 360's flagship, its an awesome game and did really well. I have no doubts that MGS4 can achieve around the same results..
