Rift comes out 2 days later, so theres no time to enjoy these lesser offerings.

KZ3 simply because I can see Bulletstorm getting old really quickly. The demo was fun but I finished it twice in roughly 15 minutes. If that's any indication to the game I just don't see it keeping up. Few games can be crazy all the time and maintain my interest. Vanquish being a good example.
Killzone 3 will probaly be better, but Bulletstorm probaly wills ell more due to it being on three platforms.
I was interested in Bulletstorm until I played the demo. It completely turned me off of the game and made it a no purchase for me. Maybe when it hits bargain bin I will give it a go.
KZ3 on the other hand is a no brainer. I will be picking this game up in the morning. I think I may be in the minority by stating that I really enjoy the single player campaign in Killzone 2, so I most likely will feel the same way about this one. I thought the demo was great and really appreciate the overhoal of the aiming and weighty feel from KZ2. Also, the graphics are incredible which is a plus as well, but we all know that already.
So, Killzone 3 - day one for me.
Bulletstorm - maybe when the price drops.
What's wrong with hyping Bulletstorm more than Killzone 3? I have all consoles + PC and would rather get Bulletstorm but I'll have to wait till I'm done with that Halo wanna-be Killzone 3 (which I preordered months ago for a deal). Unless you're implying that there's lots of ps3 fanboys who would blindly buy an exclusive over a multiplat. Then I'd agree.Im not going to get either, but honestly who among those with a ps3 are actually more hyped for bulletstorm than kz3? I understand xbox owners only hyping bulletstorm over kz3, but other than that....

Is this due to the fanboys stating for years how KZ franchise was going to be a Halo killer? Because Killzone and Halo share very little similarities in terms of gameplay or artstyle, aside from both being FPS. I just don't get it. These two games are nothing alike.Bulletstorm. KZ3 seems fairly generic and very been there done that. Not to say Bulletstorm is the most original game out there, but it does strive to be something different and I respect that.

Killzone 3 is a solid game developed by a solid dev who can deliver a great experience. KZ3 is a solid multiplayer title that, judging from kz2, will have a large community and provide a good online experience (matchamking and whatnot), also it is garaunteed that there will be post release content. KZ3 is similar to crysis 2 where a good dev is making a good game that peole should play, simple as that. Bulletstorm on the other hand is made by a lesser known company that has hit or misses with very little replay value. idk i guess it would be like picking up Dante's inferno instead of God of War if they released on the same day
Either you get a game with a mediocre single player corridor shooter with some decent MP, or you get one with a possibly decent single player with some co-op horde type mode. Seems pretty iffy on both fronts honestly.DragonfireXZ95
Execpt from the KZ3 mp doesint seem decent it seems great.

Meh, it was decent. You do know this would just go in a endless cycle. I mean the controls are tight. brutal melles are awesome and the upgrade system is well done.

Killzone is nothing like Halo. The only thing they have in common is that they're both FPS. To make such a comparison would be absurd. I've played all the Halo games and Killzone games and I scratch my head when I read that comment.I changed my mind on KZ3 after the demo.
I was expecting something more akin to KZ2, but it's a lot more different than what I was looking for. I'll just keep playing KZ2 instead. Pre-order canceled. Though, I'll probably pick it up before the end of the year after the inevitable patching.
For Bullestorm, I like it. Though, 99% of the reason I have it pre-ordered is for the Gears of War III beta. I should have it sometime in the next few hours. If it weren't for the beta access I probably would have just rented it. Yes, they got me with their cheap tie-in.
Though, I get a $20 GC courtesy of Amazon along with the pre-order. I could have gotten that with KZ3 as well, but meh.

By the gods man, is it really that impenetrable by your thoughts that someone could prefer Bulletstorm over Killzone 3? I know what these two games are about already, you don't need to tell me. But perhaps someone needs to tell you as you appear to think Bulletstorm is an inferior ripoff of Killzone 3 and discredit it because PCF's first game wasn't a huge blockbuster, unlike Guerilla's first game. And who are you to tell me what I should and shouldn't play? How dare you sir?
I didn't much care for Killzone 2. The campaign was decent, but as soon as I faced an obstacle I'd have to put some effort into overcoming I came to realize that I didn't really care to. Whenever I find myself looking at footage from Killzone 3's SP I just sit and :|. There is nothing compelling in there for me. It looks absolutely fantastic, but I've played this game already.
So you can watch a drawn out animation of the PC stabbing a dude in the eye. Great. In Bulletstorm I can lasso a dude towards me, wrap grenades around him and kick him into a crowd. Gameplay mechanics like that are more compelling to me. The story also sounds more interesting than Killzone's space warfare drudge. Basically Bulletstorm seems more fun.
As for the multiplayer, KZ2 was fine but didn't grab me. Tried the KZ3 beta some, and nah. I'd rather wait for Homefront.
Neither I have no desire to ever buy them, well maybe bulletstorm if it gets great reviews and goes on sale for 20 bucks
WTH is bulletstorm anyway?
