The best game (series) you never played

We all have those awesome games or series that we never bought for some reason. I myself love the beautiful recreations of old cities Ubisoft does with the Assassin's Creed series although I never took the time out for it and also wish I could get that $5 Vanquish I ordered from Best Buy ages ago. I'll get them someday, sometime.

Or so I keep saying.

If I had to think of a series that I find super interesting, but have yet to play it would be...............................

Jeez, it's tough to think about since so many series I've enjoyed one or two games in, but have unfortunately neglected a big portion of regardless.

The only two I can think of at the moment would be Galactic Civilizations, Heroes of Might and Magic. I've never played a game in either series, but I would really like to.

Either Uncharted or MGS.

Probably Metroid.

Halo.

Zelda

I rented Fallout, Skyrim, and GTA4 and didnt like any of them.

Metal gear solid. Story (especially a shyt videogame story) doesn't matter enought to me to watch a 30 min cutscene. I enjoy game with good stories but damn.

The Legend of Zelda.

I hear amazing things and I want to play every amazing game out there, I even had an N64 and played tons of great games on it, I just never got around to playing a single Zelda game. I will one day though.

Definitely Monster Hunter, I've been meaning to get Tri since it's so cheap now but just haven't. Thinking about waiting for the 3DS version.

Castlevania, I guess.

I've only played LoS, and that was ehh... I'll probably try and pick some of the more Metroidvania focused games someday.

Never played a Megaman and the only Sonic I've ever played is Sonic Heroes.

Out of this gen I suppose it would be Forza but the only racing games I really like are the arcadish type.

I also picked up the Witcher 1 and 2 on Steam summer sale but have yet to play it. Waiting till I build my rig next month instead of playing on my little laptop. Don't want to mar the experience I'm expecting :P

Zelda metroid and Halo I guess

Bioshock gets a lot of praise, and I've never gotten around to playing one yet. Doesn't seem bad, I've just always had other games to buy/play.

A lot of people say the GTA games are awemazing, and I have only played some of IV. Didn't like it too much.

GTA IV is a bit different from the previous ones.

The earlier games in the series were quite a bit more arcade-like in their gameplay.

It's not drastically different, but that serious overtone to GTAIV kinda throws some people off given the type of game it is.

Monster Hunter is an amazing series, too bad capcom dont take risks with them and bring them to home consoles a lot, they tend to stick to handhelds

To be honest I don't get the complaint too much. GTA4 was like a super evolved version of GTA3. Too many people expected GTA: San Andreas 2

MH on a Home console with some nice graphics would be too epic for words. Make it happen Capcom!

Vice City's soundtrack is so good. I loved Radio Espantoso

Well consistently Mario core games are the best I ever played. Not a very original question though, Nintendo always dominates these.

The first game takes like 2 hours maybe 3 on a first time playthrough. How can you put off such a short game? :P

out of the established franchises i gotta just for the heck of it .hack series on ps2 i hear alot about ,

Pretty much same deal here. Love the games, but I haven't ever bought day one. Might change with GTA5 however
