Also, there is a Kingdom of the Drunks in the game... just because it has a kiddy art styl.e doesn't make the game kiddy. I'm sure you'd be one to argue that you would never playe Wind Waker becuase of the art styl.e as well.

I'm always one for cool, crazy, weird, original games but nothing about this game screams any of those things to me. On top of that it seems to have an overly simplistic framework targeted at first time gamers. Where in most games the "cute anime" style is indeed style there are some games that use that as way to reach its target audience. (My Sims for example) Viva Pinata is style, this is not.

You can't use the "open minded" argument for any game. So use it wisely.

Wind Wake has charm, not only is this toddler level cartoonish, its also quite ugly in every respect.

I don't want to play this game myself, I am betting this game is junk like most of the Ubisoft titles. But if it had good gameplay then yes I would give it a try. I tried Nintendogs and hated it but I was willing to play it if I though it was good. I try not to limit myself to these games or those. There no reason too.

I've seen the trailer for this and it looks awsome. I totally agree, this is going to be one of the wii's best 3rd party game and nobody has even heard of it. Thanks for the post mate.debrady444

If you bought a Wii to play monochrome garbage like killzone 2 then you only have yourself to blame. The Wii is defined by these sort of colourful experiences, and the pedigree of the development team speaks for itself

I think theirs a line you have to draw as you get older. This game looks like it's made for toddlers. Its like the difference between My Sims and The Sims. Mario is not kiddy. But playing a baby king whose king of other babies...come on you've gotta have some degree of shame.

As you get older, or rather more mature, you start to realize how foolish it is to judge things solely by how they look.

No one called Z&W garbage. In fact it was building a great buzz level really early on. Plus the gameplay vids were very interesting especially as one of the first really good uses for the wiimote.

Something this game doesn't have at all. What about the gameplay makes it so great? It's easy to ignore because its not offering anything new.

Its not just how it looks. Its the gameplay. The interface. The over all simple, dumb, and small nature of the game. Its like an introduction game for little kids. Again the MY SIMS comparison still stands.

The title alone speaks volumes. LITTLE KING STORY. Ummm..LITTLE king? As in...a king whose probably a little kid? Not to mention how generic and uninvolving it is. I wonder what kind of amazing story they have in store. Perhaps you have to get your lollipop back from candy land castle. Thats like asking me to buy a called The Adventures of Cutesy Cat of Rainbow Town.

Pixar films have a level of sophistication that kids today will see once they grow up. In fact you have it backwards those are movies made for ADULTS that also appeal to kids. Not the other way around.

Nothing about Little King's Story tells me its sophisticated, no deep themes, no premise beyond "little kid with crown", and certainly nothing on the level of what Pixar does or even Nintendo with its Mario, Metroid, and Zelda franchises.

Something tells me I won't be mourning the loss of Little Kid Story. Just like I managed to find plenty of other games to play on the DS that were better than Nintendogz.

Have you ever played a Harvest Moon game... Simple concept deep gameplay and very engaging. (Maybe the new ones not so much but the old ones were great)
