you can't be serious? Socom isn't much of a flop. It flopped mainly because of bugs and lag, which can easily be fixed, whereas some of those other games are just terrible in every possible way (eg. Haze, Too Human)

I'd say Spore, as it was suppose to score 9.5, but that didn't happen.

Fable 2 was far from being a major flop to me.

Haze and Too Human were both destined to FLOP anyways. People kept trying to hype these games to be great, but early in development they were always considered to be flops.

Not sure why GTA IV is up on the list. It scored a 10 on Gamespot and most people were saying 9.0-9.5. How did this game flop? If that's the case, shouldn't MGS4 be up there as well? :roll:

It was lot worse than people thought it would be.

Flop goes by one thing, and one thing ONLY, here in System Wars - the game's score not meeting the hype. We can't go by various players impressions of a game, all of which is too subjective and too varied from one player to the next. Sure maybe you felt disappointed by it, by there are just as many (if nor MORE) who thoroghly enjoyed GTA4.

Also it is a rule here, that any game scoring AAA (let alone a 10) is NOT a flop. There is NO debate on that, no circular logic that can be applied, NO loopholes!! GTA4 regardless of your opinion does not belong in the poll.

Having said all that, and it pains me to say this as someone who actually enjoyed the game, Too Human is the biggest flop this year for having scored the lowest. It sits beside Lair now.

Also it is a rule here, that any game scoring AAA (let alone a 10) is NOT a flop. There is NO debate on that, no circular logic that can be applied, NO loopholes!! GTA4 regardless of your opinion does not belong in the poll.

Problem is, anytime any game scores AAA, the fanboys will claim "yeah but they ALL hyped it 10 and GOTY and greatest game of the universe, blah blah blah...". We all know only a handful of the fanatics who can't exercize good sense hype through the stratosphere, the rest of us go for AAA hype.

And yeah I know by your emoticon you were just kidding and all, I just felt compelled to point that out because of how often that happens here.
