it really does show how aged the game looks. If Nintendo was ever in trouble financially... they could just do high-rez remakes of their games and make a fortune. :P
If you think about it, the graphics were awsome for it's time, and the music brings tears to my eyes! If they do that with the game then i'm gonna by a wii just for that!

man that's well impressive! though i adore the cel shaded versions more but i would only play through it if you also increased some of the model's quality

hey, look at New Super Mario Bros...it's one of the DS's best selling games, and they're already doing the new way to play thing with pikmin (and metriod?) but i doubt those will have "vastly" superior visuals to the originals
wow that brings back memories, the thing is the original unaltered version has its own charm, adding high res textures just doesn't make it feel right. I rather have a full blown remake than a hd version.

Who wants an HD remake of Final Fantasy 7? That game is old. And it has a crappy storyline full of melodrama and unrealistic characterizations.

Haha! If it was Square Enix we would already have them. They only remake we got of Ocarina of Time was Master Quest which was still awesome.

That makes the environments look much better. Now all they need to do is to redo all the character models. If they did that, Ocarina of time would be on par with PS2/GC/Xbox games visually.
It's great looking, but part of the great part of playing the old games, is the nostalgia of seeing the old graphics. I wouldn't want to play another version. It's just like the Super MarioAll Stars, looks great, but I prefer the original.
idk, that kinda takes away the essense of that nostalgia feel. I didn't grow up on Ocarina, I only played it once, but seeing that alone kinda made me not like it. I know i'd be extremely pissed if someone made Super Mario 64 in HD. I'm sure it would look nice and all but it would completely kill my memories of the game how it was in the 90s.
