Some of it was much better (some of the environments, the gun models for the battle rifle, stuff like that), but some of it wasn't (see: Warthog).

I'm 90% sure red v blue uses the engine for machinima. The graphics for that can be misleading.

What convinced me was the Red Vs. Blue Halo 3 Beta PSA
The transition was incredible. It looks really good imo.

Regre this but...i see a minimal graphical update.
I'm not even kidding, i tried to look at it hard and doing so only made it worse as it showed me just how small the difference was. Maybe bigger pictures would help.Â

People who don't see an improvement seriously need an eye test. Every single thing has improved about Halo. The character models, vehicles, environments, weapon models, water effects, sharpness and textures, lighting. Obviously they are going to be improved just by going up to a next gen platform but the improvements are noticable. Does it look stunning like Gears of War easy answer and only a Halo fanboy would argue this is Heck no. However the improvements in the graphics are noticible in every spot. It's not a technical acheivement but definitely still visually appealing.
