Banjo is a great series but IMO it won't beat R&C. In terms of innovative and fun R&C win. Either way I think Super Paper Mario and Super Mario Galaxy are going to beat them anyway. As for memorable characters I didn't find Banjo and the rest of that cast that memorable.

banjo will be awesome. i like it more than ratchet but ratchet is still a good game. i don think they are gonna make another jak. if im not mistaken wasnt it only suppose to be a trilogy. anyway as far as my favorite platformers id say Mario is still king. Donkey kong close second. with banjo third. conker 4th and jak 5th.jg4xchamp

Well theres a copyright out there for Jak & Daxter The Last Frontier or some such, I expect thats what Naughty Dog has going on after they finish Uncharted.

whats with the rare hating, i understand they havent had an overall legit AAA since 64 but im sure they will turn it around. kameo was good. viva pinata was good. its not like rare has become sega where there best(sonic) is only hitting A worthy status. the last nintendo/rare game starfox adventures was AA. kameo and viva pinata are AAs. PDZ was an overrated AAA(i say its a low AA). banjo will be a great game IMO.jg4xchamp

The Rare hating is there because they were sold to Satan and since haven't made a game nearly as good as Banjo Kazooie/Tooie or Golden Eye for N64 since. Their best work is behind them...seriously Rare, Grabbed by the Ghoulies? They never would have made something that horrible before.

 Also while we're at it Sega has much better games than Sonic, pretty much anything by AM2 is better.
