Terribly boring game but it's 3$ for y'all folks who were scared of trying it.
On PSN, uplay, Xbox Live and the physical copy can be had for $5 on Amazon.
Damn! That's cheap. Is the game any less boring that the first one?
its pretty similar. I doubt it'd change your mind but hey 3 bucks is pretty cheap
Just picked up a physical copy of the game. At that price I'm sure I'll get some enjoyment out of it.
It sounded like the game had a decent launch, but had a rough ride since. Looks like it's biting into their player base, and they're getting desperate.
Not interested. I like my looty-shooty sci-fi and unrealistic.
Too bad you need to have a constant online connection to play it.
I forget if there is a big day one patch too.
Or I can just download the game with Uplay+
But yeah, like @with_teeth26 said, Ubi is trying to go big with their upcoming expansion and they want all the players they can muster in. I'm shock Uplay+ isn't working for them if they had to sell Division 2 for only $3 bucks.

why would a day 1 patch be relevant when the game has been out for almost a year? there have been loads of patches since then
Like other looter shooters, The Division games are good while you are going through the main content. Once you reach end game and are just grinding for gear, I lose interest. I like the first game better due to the winter setting, but the second game has good atmosphere as well...
Just don't play it on console...
30fps and inferior graphics. LOL
Shit, I bought it at release and still haven't touched it. Might be a good time to now if the player community will be reinvigorated.
@with_teeth26: because if you need a day one patch to play and have slow internet then that’s a no-no.
Especially if the file is large.
I got the game free with a GPU. I don’t remember if I started it or not. But with Apex and COD hitting a new season, I don’t really have room for anything else. Sorry Ubi. Maybe in a few weeks.
Meh, I lost interest in this series after the first game the only thing that would bring me back to it is if the next game is a singleplayer story driven spin off game which one the devs ask the community if they would like.
That's a good deal.
The Division 2 is a lot of fun, and the best looter-shooter out there.
Ubisoft keeps it updated constantly with free content (in addition to DLC, which is actually worth it in some cases).
And the enemies are not bullet sponges! It's a great change from other games in the same vein. Generally you shoot someone in the head, they die. You see someone with armor, you use a special skill to take it away. Heavy armored enemies you can chip away at, target weakpoints. Different enemy types have different weakpoints as well, for example, "berserkers" have meth or some chemical bag on them you can shoot and it will disorientate others around them, grenadiers have grenade pouches you can target, and so on.
Mission variety is diverse and stays fresh. You can roam around with no particular goal and still have fun and feel like you actually accomplished something.
Oh and the game is absolutely gorgeous. One of the best looking games out there.

It is arguably the best looter-shooter out there. Better than Borderlands, better than Destiny.
I generally do not like loot-fest action games because they get incredibly repetitive and, frankly, the loot gambling mechanic is the only reason people play, but The Division 2 breaks away from the routine by keeping things fresh.
The game is good by yourself and even better with friends, as someone said above it is the best loot shooter out there, and for that price its the bargain of the year.
@i_p_daily: We know you don't care about quality.
No, I just don't care about what you call quality, and apparently neither does anyone else in here lol.
I've got a backlog of over 30 FREE games from the EGS, including Kingdom Come: Deliverance coming next week. I don't need to waste money on that, lol.
@BassMan: Looks great on my xbox one x, 4k tv and hdr. I am glad that you stare at wet floor signs in the water for days on end.
They are trying to get a bunch of people in so they can sell the big expansion they just announced
How's the gunplay? It looked awful in the gameplay I saw with some really bullet spongey enemies.
I don't mind it, but later in the game and during the so called "end game" bullet sponge enemies are definitely a problem

UGH! That 4K mandate came at the sacrifice of even remotely decent graphics.

"Power of the cloud"
"Premium product"
"Most powerful console ever"

Well if that's the case, why would you ever buy an always-online MMO? It's clearly not a game made for you.,
Not that I care a whole bunch, but it's 10 bucks on Uplay for me. Definitely not worth it. 3 bucks was doable just to try it out, but 10? That's a hard pass. I could get some cool indie game for that price.
It's still $3 on EGS. Once you buy it, you don't even need to use EGS and you can launch the game through Uplay. I just checked Uplay too and it is still $3.

**** this regional pricing. It's 10 euro for me.

Yup, same here. It's 10 euros on both Uplay and EGS.
**** that.
@IMAHAPYHIPPO: I ordered a physical copy online and did not read the fine print (internet required) on the box on the website.
If I remember correctly the reviews I read did not describe the game as a MMO with no single player offline mode.
