DS has more support then the PSP. There are lots more games out there for it then the PSP. DS games have sold millions more and the DS system has sold millions more then the PSP. AA and AAA mean nothing. The average gamer has no idea what a AAA is or what his current edition of Madden scored on some website.

Then why did these Pokemon games (Fire Red and Leaf Green) sell over one million in three weeks (in the U.S no less!) , not to mention that these two were remakes of the first two Pokemon games, not original releases.

Wait a minute, I though that game sold five million copies during it's first two weeks of release. I also found out that the next Pokemon game for the DS has been confirmed.

Okay it true that the PSP has a lot more great games than the DS, but that doesn't mean they are better. The DS games have better controls and are more innovated. The PSP has great games but a lot of them are ports and multiplatform. Plus in scoreswises look at the top 5 rated games for DS and PSP. So PSP: more games = DS: better games.

I never mentioned anything about the PSP. So why would you accuse me of being a PSP fanboy? You proved me wrong as far as the statistics go, but there was no mention of those two games actually boosting the overall sales of the Gameboy Advance in North America, and I still don't believe that the new Pokemon games will give the DS a big advantage over any other system. The GBA was bigger system at the time than the DS is now.

So let me get this straight. You think that Pokemon, a game that's a guaranteed million unit seller, won't move systems? Wow. You're right in saying there's no evidence that Pokemon boosted the GBA sales. That's because Nintendo moved to maximize their potential hardware spike by coinciding the release with a price cut. How much impact each had separately is impossible to determine, but you're crazy if you think Pokemon didn't play a huge factor in it. In one month and four days, the truth will be known. Brace yourself.

Um no, what im trying to say is psp games get mixed reviews, just like how Loco Roco got AAA from several places but then got a 7.9 here, or Killzone, R&C, and MGS to name a few

I liked my DS for a while, but now it's all about PSP, even though it sells poorly.

DS > PSP...
I own both and the DS destroys it in every way.... PSP is all rehash games while DS has originality and some great games

i sold my PSP cause IMO the games suck and plus Pokemon D/P is gonna make PSP fanboys cry home to their momma! :P

This is why psp is underated. it has better games...yet....no 1 buys them.

yea PSP has definately drawn even in the games department. None of this get a DS if you want good games get a psp for the multimedia. I doubt that will have much of an impact on sales though sadly.
