I disagree, the gameboy SP owns it.

The d-pad is improved greatly on the Slim (which is why I mentioned the Slim specifically in my post). It's been raised so it has the lovely chunkiness and feel of the superb PlayStation controller d-pads. The analog stick has also been improved, though it can still admittedly become a strain after a few hours. Generally, it feels a bit stiffer - it's not like the old one which felt like it was going to fall of. Yet, despite the stiffness, it somehow feels easier to manouver. The stick doesn't jar as much in certain positions, and during fast movements you get less hang-ups. It's by no means perfect, but it's definitely better.

Yeah, my old PSP was pretty crappy. Thanks for the advice dude, that sounds pretty great. I'm going to try and pick up a slim next week

You do realize the DS has the sequels to those, right?

If that's the case, i'd recommend you start trying to get a Pandora's battery/Magic memory stick combo on eBay as soon as possible. It's currently the only way of putting custom firmware on a Slim PSP (read more here). It is expensive though, and can be a little daunting for newcomers, so be sure to think it all through first. There are ones available that directly install 3.71 M33-4 (the newest CFW version right now). Just be sure to read the guides on maxconsole.net or this very thorough thread on NeoGAF.
Oh hellz nah.
The PSP is great, but I think the DS has much more interesting and quirky titles which I seem to enjoy more.

I think that at this point the superiority of the DS is unquestionable. Hell i'm going to get a PSP slim next week but it's mostly just to play Scumm and Homebrew. DS has new games that are great and exclusive

Yes.The sequel to Mario and Luigi sucks and the sequel to Tactics Advance isn't out yet... Ummmm I don't think it is anyway...
Thankfully, I can still play those on the DS. Too bad though that I still have to dig out my old GBA and GBA SP to transfer game data from Golden Sun to Golden Sun 2. The passwords are just too friggin annoying

Yes.And, the DS can play those games. Therefore DS + GBA library > GBA Library on it's own. Makes sense, right? 2 dollars is better than 1.
You know you can just get a flashcard and do the SAME thing the psp does? and if you say it's thrid party hardware then so it your "custom hackware":roll:nintendog66
The DS flashcard's functionality doesn't even come close to the PSP's custom firmware. So no, it's not the SAME thing.
I agree, but the other handhelds were not very good to be honest. The DS isn't filling very big shoes.
It the only handheld I actually gave more attention to and even now, I'm giving it more attention than my consoles, so yes, it's definitely my favorite. But damn, thats one LARGE list of games you got there. We should play Mario Kart sometimes. I haven't played that in sometime, but thats only because theres alittle bit of too many hackers online and not enough skilled natural drivers...tocool340I'll race ya. ;) I don't snake, except against the computers of course. :P
SO many hours put into that game... good thing the DS is getting a sequel to it. ;)I disagree, the gameboy SP owns it.

So does PS3 with playing PS2 games, but there are people who prefer the PS2.
