Games are more fun. PSP games feel like handheld PS2 games. Handhelds appeal mainly to kids. DS games are better to just pick up and play than PSP games.

Thats the thing though. I don't play handhelds like a kid.. I am 31 years old. I play my handheld games at work on my lunch break, on the toilet, at family functions after the meals over, and even just sitting at home. The thing is there are great games on both platforms. PSP has games like crisis core, FF tactics remake, Cla$$ of Heroes, 1/2 min hero, Brave story new traveller, crimson gem saga, Lunar remake, 2 star ocean remakes, Jeane D' Arc, 2 Full PS2 quality GTA games, a ds port of a GTA game, Rock Band Unplugged, 2 Loco Roco Games, 2 Patapon games and 2 Holy invasion of privacy games, 5 Metal Gear games, FF disidia, LBP, GT, AC, Motorstorm, Lumines, 3 Star Wars Battlefronts, P3P, Persona, Disgaea 1 and 2 (which look and have more content then ps2 versions), 3 Castlevania games, Resistance, Killzown, 2 Syphon filter , 7 Tomb raider games, and a crap ton of ps1 gamesThe Ds for games I like are: SMT: Strange Journey, SMT: Devil Survivor, Dark Spire,Shiren the wander Knights of nightmare, AGe of empires mythology, Civ rev, Eterian Odessey 1 +2, Clash of Heroes, Orcs and Elves, 3 Castlevania games, FF 3 and 4 remakes, Advanced Wars, ffta2 and 3 Dragon Quest games. All the
DS games I like are Console sized games, just like the PSP games that are console sized games. I prefer them. I don't care for Cooking mama, dora the explorer and the countless other junk kid games and shovel ware on the DS. I love the games I listed for the ds, but frankly they would all look and play better on the PSP..
The PSP rocks for graphics and sound and it feels like a SNES controller i love it! It also has pick up and play games the minis and gmaes like Half minute hero, lumines, Pinball Heroes, Creature defense etc..
Bottom line is both have great games (DS has more shovelware though) But If those DS games i like were made on PSP..they would be better. None of the games I own for the DS do I use the stylus...except for nights of the nightmare which actually uses it well, and still remains hardcore.
