Zack & Wiki is actually an adventure game though. Plus it's also the first Lucusarts style adventure game in ages. It obviously deserved to win Adventure Game of the Year.

It's hard to say, I'd never thought of them as comparable before the nominees were announced, but Zack & Wiki is an outstanding game. Don't be too quick to rule it out...
