Looks to me like devs still don't understand what makes a strong female lead. In the case of Shepard, you get a man in a gorgeous body.
I've had female sergeants back in the army and female superiors since, being able to strike a good pose while looking smashing was never a prime quality, even for the attractive ones.

*Facepalm* So a pretty man in a pose is ok but a pretty lady in a pose is bad?Not at all. I'd prefer to not see a pretty man strike a pretty pose. When women do it to show that we're beyond chauvanism though? That's when I facepalm.
Those skins just show me that Female Shepard is still going to be Riddick's sidekick, rather than an actual woman.
I appreciate scantily clad and steroid sluts in anorexic bodies but the gaming industry, bioware and the music/film industry included, still has no idea how to portray proper strong females. Know sigourney weaver from the Alien movies?
That's how you do it! Ripley was a killer without ninja skills or the bodymass of Sylvester Stallone. Jade did fine in BgaE as well. Even Lara Croft has had a lot of redeeming qualities regardless of her slutification.
It always boils down to huge breasts, bad attitudes and enough strength to make any FF hero look like he/she/it's fighting with a toothpick.
And I do love sluts, I just don't believe in their rediculous video game representation.
Sigourney Weaver... hideous. Anyway, I'm a little confused, I see woman in armor, you see masculine woman...
