The Final Fantasy News was not that big a deal

3 years and they don't have 1 damn clip of gameplay....Square is becoming slow and sloppy, a very small shadow of their former selves. They know damn well FFXIII is a PS title, especially in Japan, hense forth why they aren't bothering with a 360 Japanese version. FFXII took way to damn long to release and now FFXIII is turning into a big deja vu.

Seriously after all the crap FFXII went through do you seriously believe Square would do the same thing again and say sry...it's out in Japan but we failed again in our planning so please wait another year while we add in different languages....

My guess is by the time FFXIII finally comes out in the states, it will be late 2010 or early 2011. By that time nobody will give a s**t and new consoles will already have been announced.

Next gen, it will be a damn miracle if they can even get 1 major FF game out. This trend they are on is more then rediculous.

To sum up, Square has become one of the slowest companies when it comes to releasing quality games and they needed to put it on another console to prevent themselves from looking like incompitent slackers aka making it look like theres a lot more work to due then just localization bs. FFXIV, if it happens, will be on the next generation of systems.

Square really needs to focus more on their main FF games instead of going lol lets work on more then 10 games at once. They use to be able to pump out multiple FF games on each platform now 3 years after the announcement with nothing to show.....it's just pitiful.

Thank you for proving my point. So many f**king ports, remakes, cell phone games, etc. etc. This porves the reason why it's taking so long is not in the production of the game itself, but the fact their company as a whole is spread out among WAY TO MANY different games. It will be a maricale if FFXIII will be out by the end of the decade.

The cows will say it's no big deal. Of course as they would try to minimize the impact of such an anouncement. The lemms are actually in the green on this one. This was total ownage day for them. How can you possibly believe Sony showed near the quality of E3 as MS? that flat out is a joke regardless. Second The 360 just got PS3's Gears of war. Think about that. 3rdly the PS3 has now fallen behind in major steps in the online video area, online avatar area with both nin. and MS sporting avatars or Mii's in games. They have a dashboard that resembles a sexy matured version of the Iphone's Music selctor. Can anyone honestly hate that? Cause it is really nice. And last but not least The 360 also is home to xbox primetime. Winning and participating in real time gameshows on live sounds just damn fun period. This was A DAY FOR LEMMS ALRIGHT. Let them, me , us have it. It doesnt matter if you dont. You guys dont have much left to stand on anyway. One more AAAE exclusive and I must say things are looking really gloomy to the hardcore crowd. Go 360!!. Too bad my wife wont let me sell my PS3. I asked tonight after work and she simply said, NO. 360-ps3-wii-pc

Yeah I made a thead with this info showing my displeasure with Square Enix. But hey the Square Enix slurpers don't seem to care. But imo Square Enix fans are completely different from Square fans and Enix fans of old.

Is that why games like Blue Dragon and Lost Oddessey have outsold games like Persona 3 on Playstation 2? JRPGS on 360 sell. Hence why they are being made for the console.

Hell Blue Dragon sold more in Japan then either Persona 3, Disgaea 3, or Valkyrie Chronicles.

Persona 3 = 510,000

Blue Dragon = 490,000

But you know, Persona was never really a popular series anyway so I don't think that is a good example.

Is this guy joking?MS took ff13 which is a huge game for the PS3 (well not anymore) and now the only big franchise sony has is MGS4 and the MGS series is over.The only thing i can think of that sony has left it God of War 3.

Theres nothing on sony,if you thought lems say "PS3 has no games" its really true now.

No reason to own a PS3.
