360: People who like shooters or want to play PCish games without having to be computer literate.

PC: For those who are truly passionate about games with depth and story. I've yet to play a console game that comes close the great RPGs of the PC.

Oh and yeah, the Wii and the Xbox 360 rock but the PS3 sucks. It's the same thing as a PS2. Sony just added minor changes to it.

The Wii: For people who want to play games and stuff and can handle less power and ****.

360: For people who want to play games and probably like some extra technical stuff.

PS3: Same as 360 really, some movie buffs might want it.

PC: For people who like PCs and often really powerful stuff.

I don't think you should include "hardcore" for any platform, why? Well because they're all for hardcore gamers. Take the Wii for example I'm buying all the good games which for now includes titles such as Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, etc., also the Wii's Virtual Console is about as hardcore as you can get. With the Xbox 360 I'm doing the same thing.

Basically what I think you should do is clasify each console/platform by the type of casual that plays it... The Wii for example when talking about casual gamers is mostly probally for kids, older adults. The Xbox 360 when talking casually is somewhere inbetween the pre-teen up until the mid 20's or even a bit farther, mostly the college type, maybe even army type, the Madden fan etc. The PS3 on the other hand casually speaking is probally for movie fans, in europe at least for the Winning Eleven/Fifa obsessed fan, and for those who assume since Sony has dominated for the last 10 years things will continue. That pretty much concludes my opinions...
