You're an idiot for even trying to spin it
You're saying being locked out of MP isn't what happens?
That's the worst part about XBL Gold. Players are simply being DENIED their basic rights to simply play the MP portion of the game they've spent their hard money on and that's pathetic.
2_Quiet_2_Riot
Basic rights? That drivel is gold, made me laugh
The MP content is all there on disc, its not missing nor is it "locked out" like you're saying. Whats simply happening is that you're being denied access to certain XBL servers that Microsoft foot the bill for funnily enough. I'm not trying to justify the XBL price, but what you're saying is just plain wrong.
OMG
Dude, you're making Lemmingland look bad. You're spinning and sputtering like a fool.
I never said it was missing, all I said in a nutshell, was that players (on XBox Live Free) are being DENIED (yes, the right) to play the MP portion of their games and in order to access the MP portion, a fee for XBOX Live Gold is required. Which is pathetic.
On the XBOX.COM website, it CLEARLY says, Players are required to subscribe to XBox Live Gold, in order to access the Mulitplayer portion of any games that have the MP feature.
And yes it is "Locked out" as in, in plain English, the player is being "LOCKED OUT" from playing the MP portion of the game. There's NO ACCESS, therefore players are being "locked out" from playing. Get it?
Okay, then to use your terminology, players are being "LOCKED OUT" from XBL servers that allow multiplayer gaming.
And yes, it CLEARLY does say that an XBL subscription is required, therefore anyone who buys a game and then complains they can't play online without a subscription is a MUG
And what you said was that it was a basic right to be able to play the MP portion of a game. Which is hilarious. You pay $60 for a game and you get that game with the exact same content that the PC version has, the PS3 version has etc. However in those instances, their online services are free and the bills are footed elsewhere. In Xbox's case, a subscription is required. So I repeat, it ain't "a right" buddy. Quit acting like a spoilt brat who thinks the world owes him everything
