Agreed. I appreciate what they tried to do but after losing a race...and then having to drive back to the starting line...which of course I couldn't find...I was like no way am I going to do this for hours at a time. Not to mention I spend more time driving to events then the events themselves. I call that the "open world syndrome." Some games really don't need these elaborate time wasting hubs.
Why try and find the same race? When I lose a race or event, I just do the next one I come across.
All burnout made me want to do was play need for speed most wanted. I loved the police chases with the epic music and the cheesy story line. Too bad my brother sold it. Paradise made me feel like the game was incomplete (no main goal), I did like avril lavine - Girlfriend being on the track list. You all loved it, don't be ashamed.
Actually you should be ashamed. Very, very much so. Burnout Paradise has probably the worst soundtrack I've ever heard in a game that used licensed music. I love the game though. The new update is bonkers. Although playing it on PSN kills the XBL stereotype. There are just as many morons on PSN. In EVERY game I played last night there was either:Screaming kids
Idiots that have to have the sound turned all the way up on their tv/systems so the sound bleeds into their mic.
Racists
Griefers (people who purposely do not finish a challenge to annoy everyone)
:(
Agreed. Glad I have a 360...custom soundtracks FTW.But yea man...internets are the last vestige of hope for rasism and idiots.
people used to do that same race path blocking on Motorstorm too. Teams. Making sure their teammate won by simply blocking the way to the finish line with semis. ruined the fun on that game for me.
