so ps3 was 63.8m and now it sold 2.27m so it's now total 66.07m

xbox was at 65.9m and now it's sold 1.78 so total is 67.68m

so the gap now is 1.51m

But I agree with your first sentence, because of europe and japan ps3 will most likely overtake 360 in sales. I'm also switching to ps3 because of upcoming exclusives (plus I want to play uncharted 2 and 3).
