Profit wise, Sony lost a ton of cash while the Xbox brand finally became profitable this gen -- MS: 1 | Sony: 0

Sony lost 44% marketshare and MS gained 17% -- MS: 2 | Sony: 0

Kinect is overall a much better proposition than Move, which is basically Wii HD and the sales reflect this -- MS: 3 | Sony: 0

I'm sure XBLA sales > PSN sales, plus MS has profited alot from subs. MS proved this gen that they are a competent company and adaptable aswell.

Its like the Megadrive and the SNES all over again, just without mad advertising like Sega do what Nintendo'nt, sony should really pull that out and bash kinect considering its cows favourite arguement these weathers.

makes sense if it is, ps3 is the more future proof console with a better library of exclusives.

I have to admit though, arguing for second place is dumb. Wii wins in sales, PC wins in graphics, Wii wins in high scores (for MC and GS), PC wins in variety and indie titles.

Either way they're second banana, 360 has sold more then PS3 but less then Wii by miles, PS3 has more great games now, but less then Wii in score and PC in number. Its just so pointless.

PS3 will definitely overtake the 360 considering the amount of great exclusives coming out for it. Turns out that having a rough launch but a smooth ending is a good move.

So we're using Nintendo's guesstimate numbers for MS and Sony sales now? I'm sure Sony and MS share actual numbers with Nintendo. Because as we know corporations love to share information with their competition. That's ok I'll wait for the quarterly reports from Sony, and MS for actual estimates of sales.
