I would agree yes. As soon as the next gen consoles release, they will be known as current gen, and these will be known as last gen

So why are 360/PS3/Wii still called next gen systems? When a game is reviewed and does well, reviewers call it "a true next gen experience" and yet refer to the PS2 as last gen. So are we somewhere in the middle lol?mmirza23

Nope, this Gen won't end until Sony says so, just like last gen. lol

I think it's not really exactly like that, there are games like half-life 2 that are really next-gen games,

even more than some new ones. For example try to compare the xbox360 squared game (but still charming) Kameo

with the beautiful, well-designed ps2game Final Fantasy XII.

What I trying to express is: there are four years aged games that can still make you say "I can't believe that this was made two-three years ago",

and are games today that, let's say, are really disappointing.
