The GunStringer Hype thread(56k no) With Poll!!!

Looks like an odd game that's for sure. :P

I'm a bit worried this'll get a low score after RoN and its 5.5 but I'm sure it'll be fun. :) (Hyping it A)

I'll have to play the demo first and see how it is. I'm waiting for Kinect Sport: 2nd Season more then anything else. The SW game got pushed back to 2012. Dance Central 2 should be great. I loved the first one, but really haven't had time to play it much.

Who are the 13 people who hyped this game as a 10? Let's be real now. You know full well that game would never get a 10. That's seriously overhyping a game. Most likely it'll get a 7-7.5, unless the game play is really good, then it could get an 8.0, but that's about it I think.

I love Twisted Pixel. Well I like Twisted Pixel. And if someone can make Kinect function, to a respectable degree, maybe they will.
Even then, this game is not for us. I've seen the gameplay, I've seen the controls. It's like one of the million fairway shooting games on the wii but of decent quality.
I'm expecting a 6.5 or so. Don't care about the reviews in this case, it's not an on the fense situation.

This game actually looks kinda fun :P

This proves that core games can happen with kinect...it just takes the right developer who's willing to take the time to experiment with a bunch of different options on how to control the game...great score...first real kinect game to own IMO

also...even though rise of nightmares didn't get the greatest of reviews...i feel the they had they right idea on how to implement walking controls on a kinect game...so hopefully a dev will take rise of nightmares control scheme, work out the flaws and make it better

Disappointed that this game has a T rating. I was really looking forward to it for my kids.

You could always buy it now, play it by yourself, and then play it with them a few years down the road.

Very surprising news! Kinect now has this and Child of Eden to boast, if only they can sell.

when have i have said "cows overhype" i have said numerous times lately that cows intentionally underhype to avoid ownage, you know this because you called me out on it the other week LOL. whatever i said earlier in the thread that having played the demo, i would be very surprised if this game scored under a 7 and i voted for 8.5, so it looks like i was correct.

The whole hype/flop concept has lost pretty much all its fun over the years. People seriously underhype games. Other people troll the other factions hype thread and over hype. And yet others vote after the game is rated to try to manipulate the hype above or below the score. It has become largely pointless.

On R3, way too many play it safers for me. Supposedly better/improved 3rd game by the same developer in the same generation following a AAA rating for the 2nd game and the official hype is AA? Wah, wah. No guts no glory. People too serious/too worried about SW floppage when they should be hyping/pulling for their game. R2 had way more interest/hype overall. Bunch of chickens nowadays. And what does it matter anyway?
