You do realize the majority of console gamers are also running their games on a SDTV @ 480i, right? Which means most console gamers don't see visuals that even TOUCH the quality of what even mid-range PC gamers see? Much less higher-end rig PC gamers.

If you are a hardcore console gamer you must have a hdtv they run as low as $400 for a decent 32 inch 720p set. A surround sound setup from pc cost about $300 slap that on your console bingo hdtv with 5.1 dd sound. What's the point of buying a 360/ps3 without hdtv and 5.1 sound??

Yeeaahhh.. and that's why Halo 1 & 2 sold like 1/20 the number of copies for the PCthen it did on the XBox. People who have the XBox versions of Halo and Halo 2 could care less about the PC versions. By the time it gets to the PC it's more then a year old and not even worth wasting the money to place it again on the PC.

Xbox has the games first and that's all that matters to most gamers.

Halo is a great console shooter but, it makes a horrible pc title thanks to dated graphics, auto lock on turned on for online multiplayer, and a horrible singleplayer. Which brings up the fact that Halo always had a horrible singleplayer. I always thought that the singleplayer was extremely lacking. Don't get me wrong though Halo is a great game for only consoles.cronus233

You act like PC isn't the platform with the most AAA and AAA exclusive titles so far this generation (that is, counting only from when the launch of the 360.) Not to mention it has arguably the best lineup of games for at least the next year or so.

If you consider only FPS, RTS and MMO games to be the best lineup of games. Consoles have all of that and more. That's the main difference. Console games have "AAA" fighters, sports, racing, FPS, RTS and very soon, even MMO. PC don't have a generation. You do know that right? :lol: The PC platform is always being upgraded and updated every month. So you can't even compare your "AAA" and "AAA" exclusives to consoles. I'm not sure why hermits keep trying to compare these games. You guys keep saying the graphics are better. Well of course they're going to be better. You just put a brand new $400 8800 GTX into your PC and updated the RAM to 2GB. :lol: :roll: Like I've said before. No comparison. Let me drop the same hardware you have in your PC into my XBox 360 and then tell me your PC graphics are better? :lol: See where I'm going with this? NO COMPARISON!!

MMOG pc no doubt in fact pc has the most of the top console games only better versions while pc exclusives stay on pc or can't even run on console. When console games come to pc they are upgraded but when pc games come to console they are castrated !!

Consoles are a closed platform with no upgrades but pc is a open platform so when new hardware comes I just upgrade. Click on my sig what console can do that lmao and next year it will be even faster and the year after also. Pc gamers will be playing dx10 games in 2007 what do consoles have that can compare nothing !!

First off, you make off like the PC doesn't have sports or racing games. Come on now, do you really need to be directed to the list? Because I think you do.

I'm pretty sure every hermit on system wars knows the PC doesn't have generations. We time it by the start of console generations, i.e. since the release of the PS2 or 360.

Yes, we can compare our games to console games. We can, we will, and we will continue to do so indefinitely. It's called an advantage. PCs have the advantage of superior performance and graphics over consoles. Suck it up and stop whining about how they're supposedly "too different" to compare.
