This game is horrible, and runs horrible. The character models are average at best (except the helmets, etc. look nice). The game shouldn't run this bad, but it does.

I have been waiting on this game for months, and this is what we get? I can't get anti-aliasing to work as well. This game is just like Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter, except Ghost Recon looks and plays a little better. :P

These screens are at 1680x1050, with 8xAF, etc.

are you playing the same game we are? :S if its the pc version, i might see how its so garbage. As Ubi dont give a rats ass, bout the PC market anymore.

really? i just got r6 vegas and i can't get enough of it. The guns are the only graphics complaint i have. What i have experienced however is games using the unreal technology ocassional revert to VERY simplistic graphics for several seconds. But i really liked this game i was playing it with my friend till 3am.

Well the 360 version is amazing and it scored better than the PC version, you should try it on the 360 before calling it horrible.

I was just gonna say, TC probably intentionally set the graphics on low settings, cause that sure as hell ain't X360 screen shots.

That's the highest the settings will go. It's on the PC, but I have played it on the 360, and my eyes were crying for help due to all the "nice" post-effects and blur.

Personally I can't stand any more Rainbow Six games. The only Tom Clancy games I truly like are the Splinter Cell series. Even the latest Splinter Cell gets a bit tedious and the system reqs are insane. They have alianated a lot of fans with the high system reqs in my opinion. Played it for the 360 and got far in it but didn't beat it. Sam moves too darn slow and combersome sometimes.

I've been playing the xbox 360 version now for some time, and it's awesome. Until now I've only heard one person who's played both this game and gears say that gears is better. I'm very impressed by this game. The single player is very intense with cool story, the multiplayer is even better with loads of costumization.

I was playing the multiplayer demo for hours last night, and I'm picking it up today if I can beat Lost Planet (trade-in plus CoD 3). I thought the game looked pretty good, even the demo, since they focus a lot of detail on overall effects and environment. Some of the gun models had a washed-out look to them unfortunately, because otherwise they look nice.

I played it yesterday at my Neighbors house and it was fun, but I played it on the 360, so it might be different on the PC.

I have Gears also...and after I got R6. I stopped playing Gears for months and untill now. R6> Gears in my opinion. Maybe its because I'm more towards realistic shooters.

It's funny how Rainbox Six originated from the PC and than finally screwed the PC supporters over with poor support.

In Double Agent, no matter how strong the rig it wont look as good as the 360 version.

Well, I didn't remove everything. But there's a blur removal method somewhere on the ubi.com forums.

I think R6 changed because is it still developed by Red Storm, if it isn't that might be the reason why it isn't that good on the PC anymore.

Dang...the 360 version looks tons better than those pics,and runs perfectly.Try it on 360 and then see how you like it.;)One of the best shooters in a while.I also read on the PC boards the game was VERY unoptimized and that they were waiting on drivers.I cant believe how high you have your specs and settings so high and the game still is pretty ugly.

Well, the 360 doesn't look any better, I have played it several times.

You're starting to come across as a bit of a mindless hater now. I understand your complaints with the PC version to some extent.... you cant run it very well without an awesome PC. The 360 version looks and plays brilliantly however; hence the AAA reviews.

Direct screens of what's being rendered =/= The graphics displayed to your eyes after they are sent through your TV. They are bound to look different. Also, the gamespot review specifically saId the pc version looks as good and better on some parts compared to the 360...
