The HS demo is not that impressive. Kind of STINKS

Halo was never about graphics. It's always been about huge spray fests with 11 year olds on XBL.

Mainly the player model graphics and on the flyable speeder bikes and body armor it looked dam close to early next gen texture graphics. Anyway PS2 could of never been able to handle those grahics.

The topic creator is just jealous that Heavenly Sword graphics blows away Halo 2.5 graphics.

Oh and by the way, I've seen Heavenly Sword textures up close, they make Halo 3 textures look last gen.

Yeah, but a bad framerate effects gameplay. God of war, ninja gaiden, and devil may cry was pretty much 60fps the entire game and demos that were released. In this demo, heavenly sword rarely gets to 30fps. I hope its fixed, but if it comes out this fall i kindof doubt it.

A low framerate would REALLY be a bad thing for this game. I mean, the PS3 IS the most powerful system. Why is there so much trouble getting great textures and smooth framerates? Is it that much harder to develpo for than the 360?

Overall, though, Heavenly Sword looks better than the vast majority of games out there... it is beautiful. Theframe rate worries me more than thetextures.

No the PS2 couldn't handle those graphics, but I remember when Halo 2 came out and, while it looked great, some were a little surprised to see the graphics in games such as Riddick looked a bit better, especially in the facial models. Halo 2 WAS a looker in its day, though...

Dude it's a 3 min demo of a unfinished game.

I watched that youtube video of the demo, liiked damn good to me, and fun, would make a worthy addition to a PS3 collection if you ask me.

Gamers these day are way to picky, if you keep this up youwill prob onlybe buying maybe one of two games per year in this gen, you people standerds are way to high.

HOLY CRAP!!!! I just played this demo (like 6 times), and this is by FAR the FUNNEST game I've played on the PS3 to date!

Not to mention this demo is OLD. This is the same demo they were playing in Heroes! Which isn't a bad thing, it's still awesome! but it will look even better (!!!) when its done! I can't wait!

Flip flopping cows... so in the case of Killzone 2 vs Halo 3, I guess your all in agreement that the vastly superior halo gameplay > Killzones graphics. The textures in Heavenly Sword look pretty weak.. its also just anback and slashgame, about as shallow as a mini game collection.
