I don't care if Sony owned them, that isn't what this thread is about. The thread is about developers and unless Insomniac, GG, Naughty Dog, Media Molecule etc changed their name to Sony, then Sony did not develop them.

If you want to view it that way, you can view the internal studios as NOT capcom because those titles weren't made by one studio. And I'm sure they different names.
So by that logic sony counts.
Myself personally I view this question as SOLE dev. As in one studio doing the work and Valve and Insomniac would be at the forefront because they have released a bunch and its been all gold.
The difference is that if smaller developer studios are the ones developing games like Resident Evil, Dead Rising, etc they are all doing it under the name Capcom. Unlike the Sony studios.
I view the question as I stated above I will admit that Capcom has released some good stuff but I think its silly to say the difference in name matters, Because for the most part all the first party stuff Sony devs. have come out with is awesome. They are making a game for SCEA they are all under SCEA, or SCEE, or SCEJ, SCEI. So thats all in the name of SONY.
