The Lack of Morality Within Sony Is Laughable

Sony, Sony, Sony. You thought you would get away with it didn't you? You thought no one would notice. Well I noticed; so now I'm going to reveal your deceptions to the entire System Wars.I was browsing the internet late one night and somehow stumbled upon the official PlayStation website. I, gazing at my monitor in a rather curious manner, noticed a tab labelled 'Competitions.' 'Interesting' I thought to myself 'Sony sure is one generous company, running regular competitions and all.' So why not, I clicked on the tab. At my time of arrival, there was one competition open, one pertaining to 'The Amazing Spider-Man.' Sony, the seemingly generous company, was giving away 3 red PS3 prize packs, each including:Scarlet Red PS3 ConsoleThe Amazing Spider-Man PS3 GameCinema double-pass to watch The Amazing Spider-ManOh, but that's not all Sony was also giving away a whopping 100 runner-up cinema double passes. Wow, looking good Sony. Alright, let's continue on.Whoa whoa whoa, slow down there buddy. What's this? There are 2 hyperlinks? This struck me as rather strange. Surely both should take you to the registration page though. Naturally, I clicked the first hyperlink (I would suppose most people would, especially those with OCD). There I was ready to sign up with high hopes of winning a brand new PS3, only to be taken to the official website for 'The Amazing Spider-Man.' As one would know, the studio behind the production of 'The Amazing Spider-Man' Is Columbia pictures, which is a subsidiary of Sony Pictures Entertainment, which again is a subsidiary of Sony. Alright, why is Sony directing me here? Well, look to the right of the page and what do you see?Advertisements? Really Sony? You link me to a website you own in hopes that I would click your ads? You conveniently place this hyperlink on the right side? Oh, I see your plan, exploiting the innocent kids with OCD who would almost always click the link placed on the right. Sickening Sony, have you no shame? Preying on people with disabilities and all.After cooling my head, I returned to the PlayStation website to HOPEFULLY enter the competition, this time being sure to click the second hyperlink. I was certain I was going to be taken to a registration page, but instead I'm taken to the official PlayStation Facebook fan page. Alright, they want me to register through Facebook, cool. But no, it seems as though I have to 'like' their Facebook in order to complete my registration. Why? No idea.Alright Sony, I'm a generous guy with a severe streak of altruism, I'll 'like' it this time.Thin ice Sony, you're skating on it. It's understandable that you're requesting my basic information through my Facebook page, such as my name and date of birth, but why would you conveniently default the privacy setting to 'Friends'? No Sony. No.There we go, set to 'Only me.' I do not wish to endorse your Humbuggery through my Facebook profile, thank you very much. No free advertising out of me.Continuing with the registration, I find myself entering in my basic details, such as my name, email and of course confirming that I am over 15 years of age. Let me ask you something Sony, I just gave you access to my basic information, and now you want me to enter it manually? My my Sony, you're just piling these formalities on ain't ya? Oh, and of course you want me to 'Share' it. *tsk tsk tsk.*Still trying to make me share it, huh Sony?I have had enough honestly. I cannot tolerate such nonsense. It's too late to woo me now Sony; your deceptive business practices, like a sandpaper hand-job, have rubbed me the wrong way. I could just take my marbles and go home, but seeing as my morals know no bounds, I will not. I will not sit idly by as you exploit children with disabilities and attempt to use your loyal fans as a gateway to free advertising.
