Don't be so ignorant. BF3 can't support 64 players on consoles because they simply can't handle it with such dated hardware.

remember that was a beta so they could find whats wrong and plug it before release.CoD4 was the same from what i remember and so was UC2, if players give enough input the end product ultimately always ends up being better.

I think thats mainly it so far. The only other things like squad management etc were confirmed to be fixed.

Thank god for that. If they didnt fix it, it would have made me angry enough to cancel my pre-order. That squad management in beta was horrific. I dont care about things like VOIP cause I use external sources to chat with friends. Heck I can just use steamchat or teamspeak to talk with my friends. I don't need nor want to talk to anyone else.

I prefer unique guns for each side as well. For me, it just looks funky when a Russian soldier is running around with a M249 while a U.S. soldier is running aorund with an AN-94.

but MP just isn't there. We shall see what happens.

I actually like Origin more. It's in-game overlay is much more responsive than Steam's for me. Battlelog is just buggy, that's it. I don't talk since I have no mic but I see nothing else wrong.

1- is that basejump thing a real place in the real world? HOLY ****.

2- night maps? as in "there is a night and a day version of maps"?

Night maps need to be darker. I hate games that have night vision (thermal vision in this case) and there's no real use for it. Makes it pointless. This is not to mention that the character models are essentially glow in the dark when there's no light source.

They look pretty fantastic. The base jumping thing looks like the part in one of the trailers where you see the soldiers jumping off it and the helicopter flying overhead.

Also I just pre-ordered off Amazon.co.uk and it only cost me 35 euro but 41 including delivery.

Battlefield 3 Tehran Highway, is, as the name suggests, based around the Iranian capitol of Tehran, where US and Russian forces in Battlefield 3 will battle on a map in the style of Road to Jalalabad and Strike At Karkand. Players start the round in the hills above the city, and gradually work their way in. The map starts relatively open and ends in much tighter, urban space in the center of the city. Tehran Highway is the only nighttime map in Battlefield 3.

Damavand Peak is a Battlefield 3 map based on the real world mountain of Damavad in Iran. The Battlefield 3 versions of Damavand Peak will be a barren landscape with a lot of shifts in altitude between the different objectives. The map will also feature based jumping on the Rush game mode, where attackers base jump into the first area of attack. Damavand Peak has the biggest height difference of any map in Battlefield 3, at 500 meters.
