Apprarantly the story never is ending as Sony has decided to continue it in this blatant rip off :roll:

both are about this weird looking thing and his special relationship with a boy,

Aside from riding a giant white animal (which was only a third of Never Ending Story) this game and that film HAVE NOTHING IN COMMON!!!

That thing in the never ending story is actually called a griffen not a flying rat, its the exact same thing.

they both have a dog-like (not rat) face and can fly. theres a similarity.

I assume TC never actually saw that movie let alone readthe book upon which it's based....

If anything, Panzer Dragoon is more similar to the Neverending Story. At least there's an actual dragon in it. With 80's music to boot. :D

i was 6 at the time and the dog thing scared me too. the title "never ending story" scared me too. i was afraid the movie would never end and i would be stuck there watching the kid and his scary flying dog forever.

I can understand the comparison, however, all the team ico games are about relationships. In ICO the boy + the girl i.e. having to hold her hand constantly and protect her. In shadow of the colossus the horse, and in The Last Guardian is this mythical creature. It looks even more epic than the last 2 games, but it was a fair assumption. I just don't think that it's "blatantly ripping off" that movie either.
