The Last Guardian Performance Analysis

A PS4 EXCLUSIVE running at sub 30 FPS. You know, the system that is worth getting premium well optimized games. You know, the system that is not weak sauce. But for some reason its ultra hyped exclusive runs at sub 30 FPS. Even the Pro struggles with its sub 30 FPS with its sub 4k resolution. And this was a PS3 game. LMAO.

The PS4 fannies are grasping tirelessly at straws. Its amusing. Try not to hurt yourself. :)

I wonder how PS4 exclusives would perform on the PS4. No way to know because the system has no exclusives.

I just picked up a PS4 Pro because I wasn't about to play this game at sub 30fps after waiting a decade for it. Here is my performance analysis...

Really fun game, runs well on the pro. Haven't noticed too many dips.

This was expected with a Team Ico game. And let's not blame it on the hardware because there are many games that run better and look better on PS4. Hopefully Ueda's next project will use Unreal Engine 4 or engine that isn't filled with jank.

Nice move from Sony. Make the games sucky on the PS4 which pushes people to buy a new Poo. Shows that customer service Sony is known for again

Well, if they actually cared about their customers, they would release it on PC where we could play it properly at 60fps and above. Instead... we are left playing on the PS Poo at 30fps as the best option. How pathetic is that? Fuckin Sony. They need to bring their first party games to PC like MS did.

@Stevo_the_gamer: I read some people even getting a whopping 10fps, at least, on the base PS4. Seems like this should have been a Pro title as far as I'm concerned. Even then, the optimization sucks for the Pro.

They are getting 10fps on the PS Pro in checkerboard 4K mode.

Who cares about FPS in a game where you stand still for 5 minutes to tell your horrible cat-dog-bird-AI to finally do the action so you can move to the next waiting spot?

@ArchoNils2: I do. Constant FPS fluctuation makes me dizzy, especially since this is a 30fps game where every dip is very noticeable. I just hope Team ICO patch this game soon. I was waiting for this game for 10 freaking years.
