I'm not lying. The major reason the majority of the PS3 games struggled to get AAAE on GS last year was that their weren't good enough for the genre they were in. Only Journey was able to break this trend. Ni No Kuni or whatever it is called broke that trend this year.All the components in TLOU have to be good enough to get AAAE on GS  including the MP mode.

It doesn;t matter. The standards in literally most genres is so high that it will be really be hard for this game to get AAAE especially if Kevin Van ord or Tom Mchshea reviews the game.Uncharted 3 barely got AAAE on GS.

I am not a fan of BF but I do not remember people claiming GoTY at all in regards to that game...

With Mass Effect 3 I only remember the outrage regarding the crap ending.

And Bioshock got hyped more than anything AFTER it's release once people got to play it and realized how amazing the game was.

It looks like a good game and all, it's just that I really don't see why there's so much hype around it. The gameplay looks solid, albeit fairly typical, and the story and settings just seems so generic and overdone; at least with Metro LL, you had a unique post-apocalyptic Russia with a good helping of mysticism/supernatural--this just reminds me of the Walking Dead or that Will Smith zombie movie.

Well unlike you I actualy make legit posts at times. Like right now.

I still don't know what to make of this game. For everything they show that impresses me, there's something I see that greatly disappoints me. Maybe I'll bargain bin it sometime down the line or borrow it from a friend if anybody I know decides to get it.

Putting it on the PS3 first was a good idea, rather then trying to test the waters with a New IP on the PS4 they target a already well established Userbase. And hell if it sells really well then we will see The Last Of Us 2 on PS4/
