Haven't touched the single player but the multiplayer is truly something special, probably one of the most unforgiving multiplayer experiences to come out on the PS3.
ND really didn't care about accessibility and strived to create something very unique  different from the run and gun COD experience that has plagued this gen of gaming.
The thrill of being chased down by two enemies in  the last man standing  mode whilst wounded, scounging the area for supplies to craft a med-pack; finding a spot to apply the pack while the enemies are relentlessly chasing you. Finding a couple bullets in one crate, downing and executing one of your pursuers, realizing you're out of ammo, and your final  opponent is probably out of ammo too  and proceeding to bash the other pursuer with a piece of wood in an extremely brutal fashion
A shame many players will be turned off by the modest difficulty curve and lack of ease, but what's there is truly amazing. Â
