what is a "sheen"?... you keep using it but it never takes off.

When sales isnt favorable to them, they usually hide and are nowhere to be seen.  They do cowardly things like combine PS3 sales with PS2 sales, stopped divulging NPD numbers.  Sony also NEVER released Vita sales in NA for the launch of the platform.  The first time in history that a huge milestone such as a console launch was hidden from the public.  They also dont devulge online sales numbers, etc.....

But when they are favorable, they shout from the rooftops :D

I can just imagine all the other Sony first party devs looking at ND with a lil jealousy saying under their breath, "kiss asses...momma's boy!" :P But I'm calling it now, Ready At Dawn is gonna be the new up and coming dev! They will surprise! Those guys clearly know how to make games, and their PSP games show it. Now that they are being given a chance to play with the big boys, they wont disappoint. Their climb in the PS4 era will be the same as ND's climb during the PS3 era. Their first game wil get AAE status. People saying its great, but could be better. I wouldnt call ND's situation a "climb".  While Jak wasnt that much of a seller, they used to be huge during the PSone era.  Crash Bandicoot was massive, and Crash was the unofficial mascot of the PSone.  The closest thing to a mascot Sony ever had.  

Nothing NaughtyDog has made since, not even any of the Uncharted games have outsold the Crash Bandicoot games.  

Still can't see what all the fuss is about. I'm about 3/4 into the game, and am forcing myself to keep playing. I mean yeah its a good game, but c'mon....

2 million of those sales can be accounted to people thinking Ellen Page was in it,

3.4 million in three weeks is pretty darn impressive, especially for a new IP.

I am kinda surprised it even sold that. I am in the middle of the game now and checking the save I am 58% through it but like all the other Naughty Dog games this gen they are great games but only good for rentals. It is like the Uncharted games in that it is a very cool game experience to go through once but the gameplay is not the type to make you want to play it again. I think Naughty Dog made some amazing games this gen and it is because of the characters, cinematic events, cutscenes, and story but the gameplay is not solid enough for me to want to play the game again even though I have already experienced it.
