Poll The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds vs Persona 4 Golden (64 votes)
According to System Wars, these are the best games on the 3DS and Vita respectively.
That's good and all, but... which one is better?

As much as I love Persona it has to go to Zelda. ALBW is pretty much flawless fun throughout. Persona has those horribly boring dungeons to explore which is a big flaw to me. Doesn't stop me enjoying the game overall but makes it feel a drag to play at times.
I must confess I've not played Golden, just the PS2 original. From what I've seen and read though the dungeons are unchanged other than a graphical overhaul.
I played both and while I have some good memories of P4G, it is a dating simulator as your stat are useless, the dongeon part is a joke too. You watched more P4G than you played it. The only difficult boss battle is again Margaret. Also I think P4 is a lot more enjoyable as the anime than the game.
As for Zelda, it was fun, shorter than P4Gbut you actually play the whole time and in some dongeon I got lost trying to figure out the puzzle. I felt more accomplish.
@bulby_g: Yep the dongeons are the same and in the same order. They added Marie's dongeon somewhere in Feb. They added Marie social link. They added some new Persona, they made the game a lot easier. A simple graphics overhaul. Changed Chie, Teddie and Daisuke/Ichijo voice actor. Changed the fishing thing in the Fox social link. They added many days because of Marie and new activities that you can't avoid.
@SolidGame_basic: Yes, because different opinions is a phenomenon entirely beyond the scope of your understanding.
The results dont surprise me at all, with Zelda leading by quite a bit, nearly 2:1. Zelda simply put is a lot more mainstream, compared to the still somewhat niche Persona 4. Despite greatly prefering Zelda, I would argue that Persona 4 does more to its fanbase than what ALBW does to its fanbase.
Despite SolidGame's assertions, it has nothing to do with not playing P4G (so far pretty much everyone who voted has played both going by posts), but simply put Persona 4 Golden excelling for fewer people. Pretty much anyone will be able to pick up ALBW and enjoy it throughly, which has to do with well Persona 4 Golden being far more specific with its target audience. And there really is nothing wrong with that, if anything, that is to be commended.

It certainly is beyond yours.

Oh excellent, we're in for another edition of Solid getting rekt by char and then running away
i'm pretty sure most people who voted Zelda never played P4G or are just blind fanboys

@undefined: can't believe the polls, wait yes I can with all the vita haters on this forum.
I was super hyped for a link between world's and it deflated so fast when the game became a "children's entitlement easy mode" game that took away what mad a link to the past so great. The fact that you could buy all the items right away made it feel really cheap, and the game was easy.
Also it didn't have the mystique that link to the past had, adding in elements that seemed childish and cheesy... especially the fast travel system... none of that crap should of been in the game. All they needed to do was make a new link to the past with cool puzzles new loot, and more items couple it with their wall blending mechanic and it would of been awesome.. but no, we got an easy mode game that seemed more tailored to kids and casuals and the "everyone is the winner" crowd. It was not the sequel to the dark zelda game that is still the best zelda of all time (with the original and OoT after that).
Persona golden was a maserpeice... done.
Persona 4G bores me. The dungeon designs are crap, and I hardly feel I am even playing a game due to all the talking I have to do. The main cast characters are cookie cutter, like Yosuke is the comic relief best friend, Chie the tom boy, Yuki the smart/hard to get girl. SMT 4 was much better imo, and the battles involved a little more effort. Kudos to the OST though. (I can't wait for dancing all night)
ALBW is the better game but can feel uninspired at times especially in the graphics. Sometimes it's best if the devs stick to sprites imo.
Zelda by a huge margin. Persona is good, but like typical JPRGs it has so much filler and grinding that it just gets boring.
I bought a Vita to play Persona 4 and I loved it (except for the dungeon design and at some point the fighting did get laborious).
It was very unique, great audiovisual design outside the dungeons.
Still liked ALBW better. But yeah, Zelda makes me drool.
